Freedom Property Services is professionally run with a great team of people. I have a short term rental cabin on my property that is listed both on VRBO and Airbnb. I never know when a 'request to stay' will pop up, so I require flexibility with my cleaning service. That is why having a cleaning team versus one cleaner works well for me. Keesia and Kristen and the entire crew are all pleasant and cheerful to deal with. It is obvious that everyone at FPS takes pride in his/ her work. I would highly recommend their services.

I had been using the services of Freedom Property Services for weekly house cleanings for over a year and thought we had a good relationship. Then a substitute cleaned our house and I asked a couple questions about the cleaning since it wasn't done by our usual, assigned cleaner. Shortly after, I received the following email:

"Your long-term business is greatly appreciated.

Our efforts have not been successful in meeting your needs as one of our Clients despite our attempts to master your scope of work. You, XXXXXX, and I conducted an on-site walkthrough to resolve this issue, but did not achieve the results I was expecting.

Please be advised that we are not able to accommodate any more cleanings on our schedule for your property at this time."

Note, I had always been happy with the work of "XXXXXX," but the cleaning that day was not done by "XXXXXX," which is why I had questions. My questions, evidently, were misconstrued for complaints. Why can't someone ask questions about services being performed in her house? I reached out by phone and email asking for an explanation but was ghosted. Zero conversation, zero warning. If there's another side to the story, I'd sure love to here it from the owner. Very unprofessional, in my opinion.

I hired Freedom Property Services to clean my Sugarbush condo between renters. They charged me $1,400 to clean a 900 sq.ft. 2 bedroom condo only 5 times. This is at least double what other hardworking and honest cleaners in the valley charge but Freedom promises the 'best' service. They repeatedly didn’t do simple cleaning or wash linens properly.
When I politely pointed out items they weren’t doing well so they could do better moving forward, they dropped me as a client. I then had to scramble to find another cleaner with less than a week’s notice for incoming renters. Luckily, a past cleaner, who was booked with other customers, worked late nights to help me the rest of the season. He still only charged me half what Freedom charges. I paid him double anyways because he was so great and honest.
When he did his first cleaning, after 5 cleanings from Freedom, he found multiple items Freedom didn’t do. Below is a picture of his dust rag from only 1 small end table. Disgusting!
Freedom was supposed to wash linens off-site and return them to the condo. One time, they left the linens in a garbage bag in the hallway outside the condo. This against our buildings fire code so I asked them to move them from the hall and put them away in the linen closet. I was told I would be charged extra to do so despite this being part of the previously paid or the next cleaning. Instead they were only put in the mudroom and left in the garbage bag. When I arrived a week later the linens weren’t fully dried so they smelled so bad, I had to re-wash everything myself. Also, I bought new linens at the beginning of the season. Many of them had bleach stains on them so I had to buy new linens again.
Several items in the contract they asked me to sign, and explained on their website, were not done. The windows were never cleaned. I was told I would get charged extra to clean inside cabinets. After pointing this out, it appears those were removed from their website description.
The website also says they clean 7 days a week. When I needed a Saturday cleaning in 1.5 weeks, I was told, “they don’t work on Saturdays without at least 2 weeks notice and most of their clients arrange their rental schedule to prohibit renters from arriving or leaving on Saturdays.” First of all, they never told me this in advance. Second, my renters often book their stays much less than 2 weeks in advance especially when fresh snow is predicted. Third, many renters start on Saturday’s so they don’t have to make long drives on Friday night. This meant I couldn’t book some multi-day rentals worth over $1000.
Freedom is, by definition, a SCAM! Overcharged for a service not provided. Also, I wasn’t, at least, partially refunded when I asked since their website 'guarantees full satisfaction.'
The other reviews on here are clearly fake from people they know because multiple things said are the exact opposite of my experience.
