This Burke Lake Gardens is the worst living place for senior citizens. Two elevators have been out of service for long time now and the management team is keep telling that they don’t know when it’s going to work again. Keep saying that call the county if you want to complain. This location use to have very friendly manager and staffs. Now the management team is very unfriendly and no respect for tenants at all. I wish I could give No Star at all.

Wow, I wish zero stars were possible because they don’t even deserve one. These company took over my grandparents’ apartment (Burke Lake Gardens) building and it is the worst thing that could’ve happened. The positive and welcoming community has been replaced with a desert town vibe. The front office is blacked out and empty. The AC has been broken in this crazy Virginia heat and their only response is that it is “too expensive.” I’m sorry but what are you doing with the monthly rent that is being collected? Now, we can take our grandparents out of that place in the blink of an eye but what about all the other elderly residents that are struggling this summer?
And don’t even get me started on the lack of Wi-Fi in the building. In this day and age, that is a must.

We tried calling the management office and a man refused to give us his manager’s information because he was told not to. Well I guess the manager knows how horrible of a job they’re doing.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I signed finalized lease papers in April of last year. Since then I had to fill them out twice more with the last time saying they had to be turned in by Feb. 1. I turned them in on Jan. 29th. Today, February 14, I had a note on my door stating that my lease expired on Jan. 31 and that I have until March 15 to move. My lease has never been due in January in the six years I have lived here. Original lease signed in February & renewed yearly.
