I paid the $60 deposit for one house that I was told I was approved for. To find out a few days later that the owner of the house doesn’t want to make the repairs that Section 8 stated needed to be made. Property manager Kim informs me of what the owner says and tells me to go in the website and find another house my application is valid for $60 days. I proceed to look for another house and I schedule the viewing the same way I schedule the other one and when I get to the property it has a for sale sign on the house and the code that is on the lock box doesn’t match there system. Kim said to me that it’s nobody’s fault and it’s nothing we can do but move forward I will help you get in there. I stated to him y’all should give me my money back for false advertisement on your site. I proceeds to call the main number where a lady answer and she gives me a random code to put in on the lock box to get the keys out and it says an error with the code. My question that Kim nor this other lady could answer was why is there a for sale sign on the house and not a for rent sign. These people are the absolutely worse and all they want is your money. They do not want to give me the $60 back and it’s there inconvenience.

Update: 2/12/25.
Kim calls my phone and tells me that if I take the review down he will guarantee that he send me the $60 application fee back. I asked for a supervisor 3 days ago at this point.

A supervisor calls me and tells me that I have wasted their time for 2 weeks now because I told her I don’t want to view the property. It hasn’t even been a week since I did the application. Then she says well we can submit you paper work to Section 8. I told her we will be in court because Kim told me to send a email stating that I didn’t want to move forward with the application after he told me they won’t giving the application fee back. Before I put the first part of the review up here. I asked the supervisor why did you call me if your worker didn’t tell you everything that has happened and what have been said to me and I received no answer to that.

They are the absolute worst!!!

Sell or even burn your house before handing it to these clowns.

Within one year my house was turned into a stable (check before and after pics) under their non-management and all they cared about is charging me, the owner, for repairs.

See email, repairs exceeded the deposit and tenants won’t pay, so they want me to pay and IF they get money from tenants they will reimburse me !!! How does that make sense ? It was their responsibility to PREVENT damage or hold tenants responsible … or else what am I paying you for

My former neighbors would call me and say your tenants are breaking havoc and destroying the property and I call the property “manager” and they say there’s nothing they can do, will assess damage after tenants move out. Now they’re out, they can’t get them to pay for repairs !!

Had to break the contract with them and paid over 10k for repairs and they are still emailing me asking for charges !!!!

Not to mention the disgraceful level of communication going all the way up to the managers

I rent a house for about 7 years , I take care the house like was mine I change the carpet for hardwood floors they only give me the money back for the materials but they doesn’t pay for the labor, I paint the entire house walls and trim, I ask them they give the ok to do it . It’s a 4 rooms 2 full baths , kitchen, living room, I buy all of these materials too and they never reimburse me anything. Every year I power wash, cut the grass, clean the yard , clean the garas too. Now I move out from the property and I left in very nice conditions the house . They send me the disposition letter telling me that they are not gonna give me my deposit back because they have to clean the house and wash the carpet. They charge me $325 for cleaning and $210 for washing the carpet . I let them know that I change the carpet and I send the pictures too. Even the person that do the inspection of the house told me that the house was very nice and they don’t have to do anything there. I send them all the pictures how I left the house and the person took pictures too. They said that I have to bring them a receipt for a company that wash the carpet but how are you going to wash a new carpet?!!!!!!!! It’s ridiculous. I asked them that I want a proof of what they did on the house for the charges And they don’t gave me anything . The kitchen and bathrooms was very clean. Now they say that the Property Manager of the house says that they can’t wave the charges . How is possible that they don’t send the proof that I am asking and just charge me when is not true what they did. Don’t trust on these people they are not good.

Today is October21st. I am responding to your comment because is not true that you guys help me with these problem because I have a lot of emails between me and Jacobo and they doesn’t resolve these. I have several calls and I leave a lot of messages too with the ladies that answer the phone . I call Joshua and Jorge Varela as well . Everytime that I called they said that they are in a meeting. So you can check with them and do the right things because I have explained my problem several times and I am going to tell the people how you guys are

Jason came to replace my back door because the water from the outside was flowing into my kitchen especially during heavy rains. He owned the issue, took pictures, temporarily fixed until approval for a permanent fix. He then followed up and was same worker to remove and install the door. I had curtains by the door he took the off and put them back up. As a face of your company, know he is changing the tone to trust and positive interaction. He also refused a tip and just asked for feedback to be given. Talk about integrity. Well done Jason.

This company definitely missed the mark when it comes to using the word "management" in their name. They "manage" to duck phone calls pretty well. We discovered BLACK MOLD in our high priced condo and they waited 7 days to even access the situation and lets not talk about the "management" of trying to get things done in a timely fashion, lol. So they told me I needed to get a hotel because once they started repairs, they couldnt get it done in a timely fashion ... So they left it up to me to get the hotel, pay for the hotel and day they will pay me back later! 5 days of hotel to be paid for by me days before Thanksgiving and also rent was due! Over $800 for hotels and 11 days later and still no payment back. They said their "printer" was broken. Which Im sure it was ... since it takes an act of congress to get anything fixed, Im sure their printer was broken. 🙂 The owner of my condo Susan Durlak is the worse possible owner. Her condos are at the Vistas on The James ... and gets over $2000 a month for rent and treats the condo and tenants like dirt. Evernest should drop her as a client and theyd be in a better situation. Black Mold is serious and they continued to allow me to live thee for 7 days with out help or care. GREAT MANAGEMENT

This review is specifically in regards to technician Cole F who came and installed our new dishwasher. He arrived exactly when he said he would, removed the old dishwasher and installed the new one. He even wore plastic booties in the house so nothing got dirty and vacuumed up the kitchen after he was done. It might have taken Evernest about a month to actually get us the washer, but it took Cole no time to get everything situated 💪 We appreciate his time and skill in getting it completed!
