Rented through Atlantic Beacon for 5 years and we loved where we lived. The property was clean, had new carpet, new appliances, and the cheapest rent! AB was prompt in responding to emails when needed and always answered their phone during business hours. Their repair man was friendly and always helpful when we had issues. A ‘No catch’/‘No funny business’ company.. everything they go by is written in the contract. We were thankful for a great rental experience. We will miss our apartment in Forest Hill.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY, or use for home sales. 1 star is more than they deserve. Terrible maintenance, customer service, rental management, basically everything required to run their sham of a leasing agency. Home owners beware if using to rent your home out. They will decrease the home value with the worst maintenance and have no problem breaking laws if they think they can get away with it. Plenty of other rental agencies in the area. Choose any other and you will be much happier. I was using a different agency for years with no issue until the home owner decided to clearly save a buck and switch to this sad excuse of a company.

Giving one star is even too much. The staff are extremely rude and nasty and will belittle you when you come to them with any concerns, and threatened a lawsuit against my roommates and I when one of the rent checks bounced, rather than charging the fee for late rent and bounced checks, as per the lease agreement (which took three months for them to get me my own copy). Claimed that they couldn't reach me on my cell, but when I sat in the office and watched them call, it went right through. The shower knobs were faulty, and you had to remove the panel to get to the hot water heater, sticking your hand into God only knows what, to physically turn the hot water on and off to be able to take a shower. We put in a maintenance request, which was ignored, and eventually the knob on the hot water heater started leaking and growing mold. That request was also ignored. The main line eventually clogged, and after putting in an emergency request someone finally came out. They ended up having to call a plumber, who gave no definite time of arrival so I had to miss an entire day of work waiting for him to show up. After inspecting everything, the plumber informed me the toilet wasn't even bolted down, there was a giant hole under the toilet, the floor was sinking in and he was surprised that the water wasn't backing up into the tub. He couldn't do any work until Atlantic Beacon approved. Three months passed after that and no one came to fix the bathroom, and every time we had to flush the toilet we feared flooding the bathroom. I wasn't even there a full year before breaking my lease agreement and getting the hell out of that hovel, leaving my poor roommates behind to deal with it. Godspeed to anyone who in unfortunate enough to rent from them.

honestly never had any issues with them...they provide cheap rent and repair issues within a week or so of me reporting. didn't know what to expect after reading these reviews. they might not deserve 5 stars all the time, but I don't think they deserve the 2 star average they have now. I wanted to share I haven't had any major issues with them.

On top of, during rental, they don't follow local laws or show any respect for others. 3wks behind on rent and they kicking u out and try too get 2 months from u.

Hello everyone! I never rent from Altantic Beacon but l have seem some of there property by going with my daughter checking out places she wanted to rent from Altantic Beacon. There application fee are not expensive. l was amaze and overwhelmed looking at some of there apartment and houses, located in a quite beautiful neighborhood they are really, really, nice.Home is were the heart live.

Horrible Company My grandmother lives in one of their rentals. They don't fix anything, they think duct tape solves everything. And the customer service is horrible. She lived there for two years they raised the rent but still didn't fix the major issues. SLUM-LORD
