If you are a tenant, lookout they will screw you out of your security deposit. They are non-responsive and dishonest. The repair crews they send to make corrections are not qualified and require multiple visits to make corrections. The maintenance management leader is late to call you back or never calls you back when an issue arises. If I could rate them less than a one, I would. They Stink!!!!!

I've been using Tri Borough Management (TBM) for close to three years now to manage a rental property in Leesburg, Virginia. The staff is always professional and responsive when addressing tenant concerns, routine maintenance, tax documents, and the other nuances associated with managing a property. I'm physically located in the Asian Pacific region, so most of our communication is done electronically by means of email, which has never been an issue.

Due to my geographical location and the associated time difference between Asia Pacific and Virginia, there have been minor miscommunications, which is to be expected. However, as stated previously, TBM is responsive and professional, so the miscommunications have always been quickly resolved. All-in-all, TBM is a great management company.

A specific and noteworthy mention, Mr. Hasan M. Ibrahim, handles the tenant search, application and execution of the leasing documents. He's always been responsive via iMessage, email and telephone exchanges. He's a great source of knowledge and is always willing to answer any question(s), even when they likely fall outside of the scope of his responsibility.

TBM helps to keep our tenants happy by providing on-time and efficient repairs when the need arises. As a landlord, with over 30yrs of managing residential real estate, it's important for us to have a management company that we can trust and is responsive to our tenants needs. One that's also knowledgeable and can handle issues responsively. Currently, we've been with Tri Borough Management for nearly 3 years, and they've been great partners in helping us manage our properties.

Lately we've been spending a lot of our time out of the area. So, it was important to have a reliable management company that would take care of our properties as we would and have for many years. In the past we've used other management companies, but we think Tri Borough Management has the most to offer. Beginning with the way they're organized internally. They have a separate department for maintenance, another for tenant liaison, and a separate Real Estate Brokerage for re-listing, or selling. This is great because each department is specialized in making sure the tenant and landlord needs are met. Each of the three departments have a wonderful team of people that are very knowledgeable in their jobs, professional and responsive. They also have a great Landlord Portal for viewing monthly bills, statements or other property related documents.

Another key point is the ownership is also a real estate investor, which is important. They understand what it takes to manage a property, maintain it's value, and make sure it stays rented.

Whether you're an experienced landlord or not, and you're looking for a management company that you can trust to handle all the issues that might arise from managing, then I would highly recommend Tri Borough Management.
