Hands down the worst living experience I have ever dealt with. I was there for 2 years and under previous management, it was actually nice. After they switched, it was a nightmare. Awful noise from neighbors that was never acknowledged by staff, broken appliances that took forever to get fixed or some not at all. Trash and pet waste all over the grounds and no one ever available in the office. Not to mention the way they nickel and dime you for everything. And when you move out, get ready for an outrageous bill for cleaning and carpet changes (things they have to do anyway) but apparently charge you for. Avoid this dump at all costs.

Very disappointed that we renewed our lease…

Please understand that you are not allowed to use the outlet in your individual garage. Keep in mind that the restriction is in the lease, but how much sense does that make? Who is going to use the outlet in the garage where the tenant pays the electric bill other than the tenant?

Also, be prepared for the most annoying ā€œinspections.ā€ Management says they happen quarterly for units and garages; however, our garage was inspected in January and yet we are in March and there is another inspection today. (Sort of reminds you of living in a college dorm šŸ˜‘.)

A new management team started late last year, which might be the change in things. At any rate am stuck for another 12 months (by choice) and not happy about it.

I truly hope the ā€œstandardā€ reply of ā€œplease contact us to discuss your concernsā€ does not appear with this post. We have already discussed it and there is nothing that can be done.

I gave two stars because the property is descent.

My boyfriend and I love it here! It’s our first time renting and the staff helped us make sure everything went smoothly! it was practically a stress free move! Our building is very quiet (well other than our 2 year old, sorry to anyone who lives in building ten) and everyone that we’ve come across is so nice! i’m not sure why people complain about parking because there’s plenty of it at my building! The grounds are always kept clean and look beautiful! and we even found a trail that our family walks on every day! for the price we pay, it’s worth it to live here!

This is my third year here and my rent has went up every year I’m here they where barely worth the original price I have a 2 bed 2 bath and my rent went from 1450 to 1570 this year which is crazy that’s a mortgage and I’m 23 they have inspections at least once every month there is no privacy in your own home if you don’t answer the door they come in regardless I seen something me say it’s like a college dorm that’s exactly what it’s like maintenance never fixes anything the apartment restrictions change every few months quiet for crazy place

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Windigrove will always hold a special place in my family's heart. It may be pricey, but you pay for what you get. The grounds were always clean, staff was always magnificent, you rarely hear neighbors, and the apartments are spacious. We moved out in February 2018, I was very sad to go. Very family friendly and especially pet friendly. If you have dogs, you do pay a one time fee for having your dog's DNA sent to a company where they test feces that was left on the grounds. I actually appreciated this because even though majority of people have dogs, you wouldn't know it. It was always clean! Never had a problem. I have to give major support to the maintenance staff. They are always there when you need them. I personally never had an issue with them being rude. They always got the job done. Highly recommend this apartment to everyone.

After seven months we are still very happy with our experience here. Our unit is exactly what we need in this season of our lives. Resident Appreciation Week was awesome and the first time we have ever been made to feel appreciated for being tenants anywhere we've lived. I love the community outreach we participate in such as donation drives. Anytime I've had interaction with the staff it has been pleasant.

We lived her for over a year and the facility overall is very nice and clean. If you do live here, I would not recommend living on the third floor as it's terrible to walk up and down on grocery day as there is no elevator!!! The pool is very nice and clean and enjoyable. The parking can be difficult to find a spot after 5 in the afternoon. Now to the bad part, it's very expensive to live here, the rent just keeps going up and they make it impossible for you to leave without charging you a small fortune. You have to pay a 300.00 pet fee which I assume if the pet causes any damage during your stay this will cover it (WRONG) plus 30-50 bucks per month depending on your dogs size. . After the pet fee they kept almost all of our deposit as they said the carpet had pet stains which I thought was what I paid the 300.00 for in the beginning. We are extremely clean and neat people and we only got back a few dollars out of 1115.00 deposit. Ridiculous! You have to pay to get the carpet shampooed when you move which is another 130.00 or more! If you have a lot of money to throw away this is the place for you/!!! You have to pay an extra 100.00 for a garage plus an additional 75.00 for parking tag. They nickel and dime you to death. We are lucky to have gotten out with the shirt on our backs. Thankful we bought a house!

We moved here to be close to work. The staff are not the friendliest but moved for somewhere to live not interact with staff. Now, fast forward a month…so much noise from upstairs it is worse than a college dorm. We don’t have visitors since there is nowhere for them to park and the road is packed (yet empty spaces everywhere ); so we can’t enjoy our own home with friends so feel very isolated here. Reading reviews I now fear our deposit will be lost (no our 9lb dog doesn’t do any damage) but apparently from what I am now reading no one seems to get it back. Waynesboro is a dangerous town so honestly what was appealing is all the police officers that live here - but wouldn’t recommend to anyone due to noise, parking and fear of losing money.
