Working with Central Virginia Rental was actually very nice. We changed our plans quite a few times and they were very flexible and understanding. The setup team did great, and they were prompt in both set up and pick up. The only reason its a four star instead of five is that the table clothes were slightly different from one another in color, (we ordered all navy table clothes), also many of them were stained. (We ordered extras in case this happened.)The specific chairs we ordered went into carrying cases and were very dirty upon arrive. I will say though that the surfaces were easy to clean and all equipment was sturdy. We rented to clear tent for our wedding and it was beautiful.

I had a big event last weekend and reached out to them on a Saturday. They had dropped off the stage on Friday. We had 260 people at the event and had State and National speakers. We had issues with the stage, so I called the Waynesboro location and was told to call Staunton. The person told me they would get the event person to call me back..... Never heard from anyone until Monday! Obviously I didn't answer at that point! Have used them multiple times in the past, this was not very good experience! I was very disappointed and surprised by the lack of service...... I believe it might have something to do with the policies they have in place? Aren't most events on the weekend? Wouldn't you think someone would be available to help people with events " on the weekend?". Supposedly there is no one available to help with events on the weekends! Thought you might want to know that if you are going to use them for an event!

CVR are great to deal with. We have sourced Event Rentals (tables, chairs, linens, popcorn machine etc.) from them on several occasions and each time the reservation process has been simple. The staff are very helpful staff & not phased by amendments to the order and they have always assisted with loading & unloading our vehicle. Very highly recommended.

We found CVR online after an extensive search. They had the best prices around with some of the rentals being almost half the price of competitors. We used them for our wedding rentals in the Charlottesville, VA area. Upon talking with them, they were extremely clear about requirements (such as fire requirements in the county), which no other company even mentioned. We reserved a rental with them for the weekend of October 5th, which apparently was a busy time. We reserved tables, chairs, a dance floor, and two large tents. We explained from the beginning that the tents were a backup plan in case of rain, and that we were hoping to not have to use them. They hands down had the best rain plan cancellation policy out of any company we talked to.
As it got closer to the event, we were able to update our reservation easily because of new numbers for our wedding. We reiterated that the tents were a backup rain plan and they worked with us really well and gave us clear information. In the end, there was a zero percent chance of rain in forecasts, so we were able to cancel the tent rentals without a hassle. The delivery of the items worked out well and they set up the dance floor (included in the cost). The rentals themselves were great. The chairs were of a good quality and the dance floor looked nice.
Overall, CVR was the best company around in terms of pricing, clarity in communication, rain plan cancellation policy and customer service. I would hands down recommend this rental company to anyone who is looking.
