My husband rented from MG over 30 years ago and even then it was a great place. Thirty years later, we are comfortable knowing our daughter and granddaughter are now living there. The office staff, specifically Melissa Lester has been a godsend. The moment we met her was the instant we knew that this was the place that would become our extended home.

My wife and I had a great experience with our application. On the same day we applied, we were able to sign the lease and move into our new home. The staff were welcoming, and the office was clean and organized. Melissa made the entire process seamless. She was incredibly kind and straightforward, which made us feel comfortable right away. We told Melissa what we were looking for when we got there, and she wasted no time in showing us an available unit that met all of our needs. We were impressed with the unit and felt instantly at home. The unit has new fridge, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer, and was move-in ready, which made everything so much easier for us. Melissa was incredibly efficient in processing our application and we're grateful for the excellent customer service we received. Highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone looking for a new home.

Went on a tour and really enjoyed the complex and units! Nice quiet facility that is well kept and staff is SO friendly. Answered all my questions and with HONESTY. Who gets that nowadays Very personable and kind and the units are spacious and have exceptional amenities in comparison to similar price ranges. Definitely enjoyed and will be looking to complete an application!

I had the unfortunate experience of living at Mariners Glen with my significant other, our service dog, and myself in a one-bedroom unit. Unfortunately, my time there was far from pleasant, and I would caution others considering this complex.

The biggest issue I faced was with my upstairs neighbors. They were incredibly inconsiderate, often dropping trash, cigarette butts, and wrappers onto my patio, which became a constant nuisance. I left my broom outside to clean with it, only to receive a notice from management prohibiting cleaning products on the patio. When I called the office to explain why the broom was there, I received no empathy or understanding from the staff.

Additionally, there was an ongoing issue with dog waste near my back patio. Despite providing video evidence from my Ring camera showing that the waste didn’t belong to my dog, management did nothing to resolve the situation. This lack of responsiveness was disappointing, especially as the complex seemed uninterested in addressing resident concerns.

The maintenance of the apartment was subpar as well. The bathroom had persistent mold growth that was never properly addressed, and there was a noticeable wrinkle in the carpet beneath the heater. The carpet throughout the unit showed significant wear and tear, and the unit we moved into seemed like a poorly “renovated” version of the model, offering a far lower standard than what we had been led to expect.

My frustration continued when it came time to move out. I was given conflicting information about the required move-out notice. While they claimed a 60-day notice was required, Washington State law only mandates 20 days. Regardless, I gave over 60 days' notice due to my dissatisfaction with the apartment. After the move-out walk-through with Melissa, I was told there would be no charges since I left the apartment in pristine condition. To my surprise, I later received a letter stating that a large portion of my security deposit would be withheld for carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, and cleaning the bedroom blinds—none of which I was responsible for. The letter falsely claimed that I was not present during the move-out inspection, which felt very shady and misleading.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against considering Mariners Glen or any properties managed by NALS. The lack of proper maintenance, disregard for resident concerns, and questionable business practices made my time there extremely frustrating. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a place to call home.

Ever since we moved in it's been constant notes on the door about community guideline violations, can't even put curtains up towards the street cause it's a violation. When we moved in the apartment had tons of issues, overspray of paint on floors and fireplace, unpainted patches on walls. Chewed up baseboards by dogs from previous residents, toilet that wasn't bolted to the floor at all and the concrete below was completely rotted out the first week we were here we had to work around them to use our own bathroom because it was in need of repair as soon as we moved in. Caulking in bathroom and in kitchen cracked and moldy. Constant harassment about our ESA animal. We've had to provide documents and doctors notes in order to not pay $400 for pet deposits, they've attempted to charge us three times now even though we've sent them the documents multiple times they always seem to misplace it and say we have to pay. The maintenance manager was a creep to my wife asking her if she thought he was cute and whatnot. Honestly this place is way higher priced than local apartment complexes and not worth it in my opinion. Will be running out this lease and leaving as soon as we can. Also neighbors frequently race up and down the driveways at all times of day with loud exhaust.

Having repairs done quickly is one of my favorite things about living at Mariners Glen. Froy responded within minutes, on a Saturday morning!, when there was a small leak under the kitchen sink. He responded within 24 hours to a low priority maintenance request I put in online. Fabulous level of service.

This is a great place to live. I love the quality of the apartments and gym/sauna. The property has many trees and nature. The office staff is very friendly and always answered all my questions. The maintenance team is also very friendly and fast. The property is well maintained with weekly landscaping and improvements to the buildings. My cats were very safe living here. Overall a great renting experience. Only moving because I got a new job in a different state, otherwise would stay longer. Highly recommend this location.
