They play games my rent was 800 a month they took over and 3 months later they raised rent to 1500 cause we refused to sign a lease ...no lease wa in place to begin with them. Crooked place DONT TENT FROM MISSION!!!

My experience with this company was unprofessional in every way, I was straightforward with the realtor who showed me the rental, explained my situation and she said that it was no problem and that others were qualified with the same thing, I submitted my application and paid the fee and they kept bumping other applicants in front of me with no explanation as to why, when I requested my processing fee to be refunded they said they would ask their supervisor, that was a few weeks ago and I have had no answer. The realtor who told me to submit my bank statement assured me that I would qualify if I did in fact have the savings balance in my account and I did, they then told me I didn’t qualify, I have no criminal history and my application didn’t even make it that far in their process and I have had no communication from their supervisor, Jen. Other company’s transfer the processing fee but these guys won’t even offer that or refund me, I paid for 2 fees, my sons and myself, unprofessional.

I have rented from mission for about 2 years now. I have a older property that has needed some TLC. They have always been super responsive and kind. Most problems have been answered within 48 hours and continued follow as been consistent. Never had any push back or problems on any request. I had to call the emergency after hours line and talked to Jen due to a frozen pipe, she was very friendly and helpful, she was in contact with me late in to the night and the problem was addressed very quickly. Mariah had been my main property manager and was always quick to reply and address problems. Everytime I call I've talked to a person and they were always friendly. Maintenance team has been respectful and does good clean work. Would recommend whole heartly.

I used Mission Realty as my property manager for my 6 year old custom craftsman home I was moving out of. It was rented for almost a year. The signed contract was long and thorough. Monthly I received statements and my rent income came direct deposited 3 weeks after the first of the month, until the final month. The renters moved out end of August 2021 and today November 6, I have still not received the last month rent nor any compensation for the numerous damages to my house. The most damaging was a reverse osmosis system installed under my kitchen sink which has caused leaking and cabinet damage. The rental contract clearly stated renters would not alter the structure of the house without permission. I never was asked nor gave permission for this install. Jen told me about this as the renters were getting ready to
Vacate. At that point I told her it was ok to leave it but I had no idea of the water damage. My daughter moved into The house and discovered 22 problems, including them having left the house dirty and taken some items that should have stayed with the house. Even took part of the whole house Music system. I had numerous emails with Jen. She is rarely available to speak on the phone. She is non responsive, always has an excuse and always tells you she will look into

When my daughter took over the house, despite me having paid $300 monthly for lawn service and a one time $190 fee to set up my irrigation system, there was no lawn edging done, the weeds were 3 feet high on my front gravel drive and the plants were dead from Lack of irrigation. Jen had told me she would do monthly drive by and take care of anything that needed attention. Do not believe her. I finally left her a message that if I did not get a resolution to my lack of rent payment and timeframe for repairs, I would contact an attorney. I did that today. In addition I had to contact a plumber to take care of the kitchen sink leak. Do not use Mission Realty.

Realty was efficient getting me into the rental I was approved for, and indeed they were mostly prompt in their responses; I would definitely warn potential renters that communication from Claire is not transparent. I would strongly advise you to read all leases/contracts and emails especially thoroughly and ask for clarification if you need it.
Personally, I was very careful from start to finish, and still came out of my lease furious with many things that happened, from curt responses (from Claire mostly), to sneaky lease renewal terms to additional "cleaning" and "repair" charges deducted from my deposit. Fortunately, I was living in an inexpensive (broke down) unit, and I was very proactive about finding another place as soon as I possibly could; so even though I lost more than half of my deposit, it was not a world-ending experience for me. Ultimately, I will never work with Mission again and I would caution others to be very careful when considering rental options

***I want to add that I very rarely leave reviews because they are so subjective, but I don't appreciate deceit and felt like this was the only way to voice my concerns and hopefully keep someone else from feeling the same.

As a new property owner in Semiahmoo, I was very concerned about having a reliable company rent and manage our home until we were able to move there on a permanent basis. Our first few experiences with paid contractors were challenging and we felt helpless and unable to really trust that the work we were paying for was being done to completion. This is very stressful living many states away.

Enter Claire and team from Mission Realty. I reached out to Mission Realty and within the first few minutes of speaking with their staff, my wife and I felt comfortable enough to hire them to help manage our property. Claire met us at the home, did a walk through with us and discussed a wide array of areas that needed attention. She is extremely responsive, professional and attentive to our needs - which at this point are much fewer than before we met her.

Claire has maintained close contact with me and handles everything we need promptly. I truly don’t know what we would do without her and Mission Realty’s services at this point in time. I highly, highly recommend Mission Realty (and Claire) to manage your property needs.

It should be mentioned that Claire facilitated renting our home within just a few weeks. We couldn’t be happier!!!

I have truly valued my experience with Mission Realty! It’s actually restored my faith, as well as hope, in rental companies. It is possible to find a rental company that you want to stick with! They are excellent communicators, treat me with respect, fix all issues I’ve had in a very timely manner, and I literally haven’t had one single issue the year and a half I’ve been with them. I recommend them to anyone looking for a rental company to go through, so much so that I refer my closest friends and family to them.

Absolutely terrible. Communication was non existent. I really feel like this company has bit off more than they can chew. I should know, I’m in property management. There’s no reason for someone to wait longer than 72 hours for a response from their property management company. Have a work order? Forget about it. You don’t owe them anything? They will think you do. Run away.
