Honestly, one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. When I moved in, it looked like the unit was still under construction—there were shims under cabinets and in door jambs, unpainted areas behind doors, and an unfinished shower/bath. Despite all this, I was charged excessive late fees when moving out, and the property manager was completely unwilling to work with me on costs. Management’s practices felt questionable. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.

Renting a Roma townhouse apartments, I have found the place to have very thin walls, resulting in a constant barrage of loud noise from neighboring units. Despite lodging multiple complaints with management, it doesn't seem like they take the issue seriously or have made any efforts to address the problem.

This lack of response has made it extremely difficult for me to relax and unwind in my own living space. The persistent noise makes it challenging to concentrate on work or get a good night's sleep. It's frustrating to feel like my concerns are being dismissed and ignored.

Overall, the noisy environment and the lack of action from management have made my stay at this apartment complex unpleasant and stressful. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet living environment. I could possibly change my opinion on this matter if management would step in and take action against the inconsiderate neighbors.

**Edit** my concerns were resolved with management. I missed some things, but now I know how things were being addressed.

Emma and Erin both were absolutely amazing and concise with assisting me in my time of need! Definitely recommend that if you have any issues at all they can help for sure in a clean and timely manner!

Absolute worst property management experience I've had in Bellingham in terms of maintenance requests. They are very slow to respond and resolve issues.

Edit: I have never been so infuriated to write a bad online review, but this is making me want to be a full on Karen. Thank you Roma for your thoughtful and professional reply and I look forward to a quick and easy resolution.
Romas response is faster than I’ve received on most maintenance requests. It took two requests and lots of following up to get a screen put on a window and over a month and lots of follow up to get my sink handle fixed. Now it’s been two weeks without a stove.
I’ve been told the owner “prefers” to use their own maintenance person and they need approval from them before scheduling. Well I “prefer” to have a functioning stove and a screen on my window. I have clarified all my concerns and will continue in (delayed) communication directly.

Erin and the staff at Roma Management were more than helpful, they were absolutely amazing!

I was looking for a new apartment for my mother on short notice, and Erin and team went above and beyond to find us the right place at the right price, and helped us every step of the way. The new place is fantastic and my mother couldn't be happier. Erin was right, it was perfect for her.

Despite the short notice combined with the twists and turns that go with getting in to a new place, Erin was always polite, cheerful, and thoroughly professional.

10/10 - Would have my own mother rent here

I’m a college student and was applying for an apartment through Roma management. Before applying I called several times making sure everything would work out (paying with co-signer/college fund) I was assured it would all work and I applied before anyone for the unit I was interested in. I received no communication and when I called again I was told I had missing info, so I gave extra info on the spot over the phone. They said there was another applicant but that all should go well because that applicant still had missing info. Then I called again after I still received no communication and was told I had more missing info about my job which no one told me before (already irrelevant because of co-signer and college fund) but I called my job and double checked and my info had been sent, Roma management just didn’t look for it or put it in. My application and info was done first, but I lost the apartment I was interested in and after everything they refuse to give me my $100 application fees back. This company has been extremely unprofessional with a huge lack of communication. As a young college student I feel they totally took advantage of me. The other apartment building I ended up going with is so much better. I highly recommend not using Roma management.

Best experience ever! With the housing market the way it is right now not everybody cares about the renters so much, well this is not the case of Roma Management, they were all very supportive and listening specially Erin, we moved from a different state and we were not able to see the apartment in person before we moved in but Erin made us feel confident that we were going in the right direction, guided us through the whole process without running into any issues.

Same thing happened when we moved out, everything was super clear and done efficiently. We moved before our lease finished and Erin helped us to get someone in as soon as possible!
