From 3,500 miles away, I reached out to Teri Williams when we knew we wanted to move to Orcas. Using her depth of island knowledge, she guided us expertly, showing us numerous properties that fit our criteria. When we decided to build, Teri helped us secure the perfect property, navigating the details while we packed up our home on the east coast. Marlis is hands down the absolute best!!!! I expressed a little interest in purchasing a property, very casually, to her with a list of difficult wants and needs. She has been so great as to send me listings that capture aspects of my very difficult list. Super friendly and very knowledgeable, she has also answered any questions I had quite thoroughly. You will not be disappointed with this group of professionals.

She was the realtor representing the seller. She behaved in an unethical manner, I believe. Certainly, she gave out false information that was refuted by her clients when my wife and I spoke to them later. In spite of a full bid offer we did not end up with the home. Obviously, only one bid can be successful with disappointment for the rest, but the lack of our success in getting the home is a direct result of her misrepresentations and maneuverings.

Later, when we found a second property, we were disappointed to see that Teri was once again the agent representing the seller. While we were reluctant to make an offer because of her we did proceed and came to terms with the seller. However, we felt we could not go through with the deal after we were given the disclosure statements from Teri's office. There were discrepancies in the documents and I have pictures from the property that show a contradictory truth.

We have come across other listings, as we search for property, represented by Teri and pass on them straightaway.
