My family recently moved into a rental while we were fixing up our primary residence to put it on the market. Deborah Allen manages the property and has been difficult to deal with from day 1. Our concerns with wet carpet and broken pipes were dismissed or poorly addressed. Responses to other issues were delayed. Everything we've brought up has been met with defensiveness and a complete lack of accountability or empathy. Wet drywall and holes put in the ceiling by the plumber were never repaired. Deborah is an extremely poor communicator and has been defensive and even combative when told that we were concerned for our children's health with the mold in the basement. I would highly recommend avoiding her at all costs with any of your real estate dealings.

Kelly is responsive and amazing. She helped us navigate this insanely competitive market while we were living overseas! As a first time home buyer with nothing but jitters, I truly appreciated how much effort she put into communicating with us and walking us thru every step and answering every question in a timely and detailed manner. Kelly made a conscious effort to factor in the time difference which helped us keep on top of things when we were ready to put our offer in. Literally got the first house we set our hearts on- and at under the appraised value! And she stayed in touch after closing and kept offering to help us in any way possible- from introductions to contractors, to finding answers to random questions we forgot to ask during the process. Tom and Carii are the best! I had the pleasure of working with this amazing husband and wife team when we recently purchased a home with their help. We spent nearly a year and made at least 4 trips flying from Alaska looking in and around the Bainbridge Island area and searching for the perfect home. She helped us find a nice home 3000sf+ on 2.5 acres with all the ammenities we desired at a reasonable price for the area. (Emphasis on 'the area' lol)

Tom and Carii work so well as a team because Tom has extensive knowledge of home construction and was able to answer my hypothetical questions reasonably and honestly. This information helped us when looking at the potential when selecting our home. I've purchased several homes over the years and by far Carii has superior customer service in so many respects. She would live stream walk through videos for us so we could tour potential homes without us having to fly out or rely on canned photos and videos. This was immeasurably helpful. I am a very finicky buyer and I assure you, she can handle very specific desires and concerns for her clients, I speak first hand. I know I would consider myself a particular buyer that needs a bit more attention especially when purchasing in the price range we were in.

Tom and Carii are master negotiators. I never for one moment felt like they were putting themselves ahead of my needs when it came to working the deal and negotiating items I needed from the seller. She is very honest about the best way to attain a mutually assured deal while representing our needs and looking out for our transaction. We had some challenges on the part of the other side but Carii and Tom were dogged in their determination to see the transaction go through to my satisfaction.

She's extremely organized and will spend as long or as little as necessary answering questions and going through the homes and the contract. I would not hesitate to recommend her and Tom 100%. When and if I find myself upgrading even further, I will seek the assistance of Tom and Carii, and you can count on that!
