Stay away from this company if you are not buying a new cookie cutter house in Seattle. We bought a unique property in another county and used a realtor from here, she was all about finishing the sale and not looking out for us. My biggest example is the following quote from her "the barn just needs a new roof otherwise its structurally sound." Well why did we just get an estimate then to fix the trusses and tear off the old roof for $48k, that doesnt even include another $15-20k to re-roof it. 2k for a water heater, 1.5k for fireplace issues, etc. The list just keeps going on. If you use this this company listen to the inspector and dont take any advice from the realtor who just wants to close the sale at all cost. There are many more issues we had with this company but I think you get the picture. To top it off our 60 day closing was actually 7-8 days late because of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services which sat on paperwork for 2-3 weeks before they figured out there was an appraisal problem. Shame on you, i used to respect Warren Buffett companies but now i am not so sure.

We were first time home buyers and Sean was perfect for us. He was easy to work with, answered all our questions and made us feel relaxed about the entire process. Most importantly, he was professional, responsive and found tons of homes that fit our requests/needs.

Once it was time to put an offer in he provided great insight and was quick in gathering everything that was need. He walked us through the entire process and every step. He also help working through some issues with our lender.

Sean is absolutely amazing. And ethical. Yes, I did just use the "e" word for a real estate agent. In early 2012 I decided the time was right to consider buying my first house. My credit union has a program for home buyers that puts them with a known real estate agent. They matched me with Sean and I could not have asked for a better agent. He listened to what I was looking for, didn't show me things I didn't want to see (no condos!), he stayed in my price range, never pressured me, let me look at each house at my own pace... When I asked how long he would work with me, he said as long as it takes, but I think we found my townhouse the 2nd weekend we went out. He was consistently open with communication, always being upfront and honest, even if it was something he knew I didn't want to hear. He was my fearless advocate and for that I will always be grateful.

Fast forward to almost 2 years exactly when I found myself unexpectedly moving out of state. I called Sean up and he helped me sell my house in the same level of professionalism that he showed when I bought two years earlier. Even with all the non-ethical hoo-ha played by the buying agent, Sean stayed professional and ultimately closed the deal with minimal fan fare. Thank you Sean for demonstrating not all agents are trying to take advantage of my newness to home ownership. You definitely helped to make it a relatively painless experience and I hope I have an opportunity to work with you again in the future. I'm just sorry it took my so long to put it in writing.
