The Ridge at Clear Creek - Flagstaff, Arizona

I stayed at The Ridge for six months and initially enjoyed it quite a bit and wanted to sing nothing but praise. However since moving out my security-deposit refund is overdue by over 100 days (was initially promised it back by mid-August 2024). I have consistently reached out to contact the Ridge (even appearing personally at the office several times). Consistently I am told a tale that I should be hearing back from the office or the manager in a couple of weeks but I have never received any communication except for when reaching out to them myself.

If you have quite literally nowhere else to stay the Ridge can put a roof over your head, but be mindful that your security deposit will potentially never be returned. Currently I am still trying to work with the office to get my deposit back but as it stands it's a futile effort.

I absolutely HATE this place! The most ghetto luxury apartment I’ve ever stayed in. They took away our assigned parking and now they’re removing the covered parking. On top of that they will not maintenance anything. I’ve been putting in request for almost three months for my kitchen drawer, dryer, laundry room doors, and now bathroom toilet to be fixed and nothing. They expect me to host my holidays get togethers in this raggedy run down apartment. Sad and embarrassing. Instead of focusing on these ridiculous office parties actually get out there and tend to the needs of your renters. This will be my last year here. Over priced, ugly, and not at all luxury! Get it together and please fix my overflowing toilet!

Many others have recently identified the major problems with the Ridge. Save yourself time and don’t move in here. My wife and I lived here for two years. If you would like some specifics I’ll outline them below

- The ownership/management cares about nothing except getting your money. Forget customer service, resident satisfaction or anything of the like. They will nickel and dime you for everything they can, and even though I’ve been moved out for two months they still have not returned my security deposit. Without notifying us, they signed us up for some worthless monthly program that added $15 to our rent. If I wasn’t the type to pay attention to charges, that $15 would’ve continued to be charged to us. As it was, I had to call the company numerous times before they removed me from the program and reimbursed me

- Snow removal is an absolute joke. Also maintenance and upkeep of the units and the overall property are also nonexistent and so bad it becomes comical

- Although the amenities would be solid if they were maintained and cleaned regularly, the hot tub is usually broken, the gym floor get so much hair and dirt piled up on it it’s disgusting

I could go on and on if I wanted. I have lived many places and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a landlord/management company. I will attach a photo of bags of dog poop overflowing the trash cans on the property, the hot tub covered in slime and mildew, and a photo of their covered parking spots collapsing under the snow because they can’t clean them off in time

Management takes forever to get work orders done and does not care for residents. When first moving in they put us in apartment that had mold running through the space. They moved us into a new apartment that had broken drawers, broken dishwasher, and a water heater room that had the roof collapsed. Had a broken light and a broken dryer for two months because management does not care to hire more maintenance workers. Avoid this property at all cost there are much better options in Flagstaff.

If I could put 0 stars I would this place is so so sooo unprofessional!!!! The people at the office never call back. When I lived there it says I get a storage space on my balcony well that was a lie I never got access to the space. When you put in a maintenance request it takes forever to even get taken care of. I move out 2 months ago and I’m still waiting on deposits check. By Arizona state law I’m supposed to get it back with 14 days, 2 months later I’m still trying to get in contact with the manager who seems to never there and never returns calls. I’ve been called everyday for 2 months and she’s not there or is to busy to talk or even call back very unprofessional of her.

On my third year living at Clear Creek village (also run by The Ridge at Clear Creek). Lots of trash during move in but it’s location is great with trails close by, lots of trees, and it’s nice and quiet!! ? I got a new unit this month which was dirty upon move in. The stove, bathrooms (shower and toilet), baseboards, and doors were filthy and didn’t look like they were cleaned. It was upsetting to see especially when units are supposed to be cleaned prior to move in. Overall, great community but I’m upset about the cleanliness of my roommates and I’s new unit. Don’t let my little rant about my apartment scare you from moving here. Besides this little hiccup during move in it’s a great place to live!! Staff is very friendly and willing to help in anyway needed. I love how Clear Creek and The Ridge are pet friendly and don’t have restrictions on dog breeds!! Just come check out their units and location!!

if I could type a novel I would. please move anywhere else; sawmill, Fremont, grove, literally anywhere else. The unfortunate thing is that I actually worked at this company with the people who are currently running it and let me tell you ... you do not want to live here. When they hate someone they will do everything they can illegal or not to get you out, management will chat about residents calling them the most terrible things. Black mold everywhere and they will not do anything for the property until they are fined by the city so if you see evidence make sure to report it to the city.

The architect should have put the building numbers in order. But because they getting my job is harder. It took uneducated peasants to build the colonial church. It still stands to this day. But wonder how long these buildings are gonna to last this apartment complex. Built by somebody with a phd In architect.
