There're many roaches in this apartment, it's filthy with the price they charged. You can find roaches everywhere, the carpet, food cabinet, wall, everywhere you name it.

This area is unsafe in Burien area, you can see people walk around with mental issues, or drug addiction. We thought city edge apartments have front gate, that can provide the safety, but no. There's a wood door on the side of front gate, anyone can get in easily. We caught the people who have drug addiction broke in the apartment, and asked me if she can borrow electricity to charge her phone, etc.

The apartment is poorly built, you can hear the conversations from both sides of your wall. The neighbor's screaming, yelling, etc. Not recommended if you don't like noise.

We have reported thousands times to apartment manager, she is irresponsible, poor management and dishonest. Her husband also use improperly rude words to my family when we tried to report the issues.

You may think why don't we skip reporting to apartment manager? We have tried to reach her boss, her boss is even worse. And you won't be able to reach out the corporation either, because the owner is not even living in the state. From china I think.

Don't waste your money, you can ask how much they charge and decide yourself. And prepare you have no way to report the issues with rude manners.

For future residents, be caution when you apply here.
I have exceptional rent history and amazing work history with being consistent with my new job for over a year and a half. I was declined because of my low credit which is in the high 500s and debt of less than $1000 and mostly in medical bills.
I don’t owe any money to any apartment
No criminal history
And no evictions ever on my record.
Don’t waste your money applying here.

I applied to 3 other apartments higher class than this place and got approved instantly.
There loss, not mine.

We have lived at this complex now for eleven years (5 years in a 2 bedroom and now 6 years in a 3 bedroom). We love living here! Great views of natural surroundings. We can see the Puget Sound from our balcony!! Janet Santos is the best manager we’ve ever had at this complex! Parking is reserved. Be sure to tell your guests! We are moving to a smaller apt nearer to my partner’s job.

We moved from Alaska and didn't have the ability to view the apartment before and we were a bit hesitant and we are sure glad we took the chance! Miss Jasmin was a delight to work with, we were close to the 1st of the month and needed a place here in Burien, she expedited our application and we were able to move stress free. Dylan and Janet have been very responsive to any inquiries we have had. I can see my family here by the ocean for awhile! Thank you Cities Edge.

It started as a nice place to live. Management was responsive. The neighbors were friendly. Then the troubles started. They increased rent by 20% with our providing any added value. I chose to move on rather than pay extra. They refused to do a walk through of the property on exiting. The manager couldn't be bothered to do his job. Now they are trying to wrongfully charge fees. Looks like legal action is coming. Don't move here. The place isn't worth it.

Lived at Citys Edge for the last 8 years until my retirement. There were multiple managers thru the years but the current manager, Janet Santos is incredible. She was responsible for an incredible maintenance effort to improve every facet needed to keep the compound secure and improved all safety features. Janet's communication with me as a tenant was top notch. Janet is an incredible manager and I can only hope my current managers are as good. Thank you for all you did to make the complex as safe and enjoyable in,

Update2018: Been here 7 years. Still a 3 star. Average price. Not the best. Not the worst. Average apartments. Not the best. Not the worst. Between White Center and Burien...considered Burien but sometimes address is Seattle. New managers every few months. Last one that was long term was 3 years ago. I think she stayed over a year. Parking is problematic unless you have a garage. Quiet most of the time. Rowdier during the summer months but not too bad. Why are we still here after 7 years? Nothing bad enough to say goodbye yet. We're transplants and finally feel settled. Transferring to new apartment in complex to get more space. I will let you know how it goes and if I think the extra rent is worth it.

I've been here for 4 years and never expected to stay so long but this place made me feel comfortable and safe. It's so quiet and tucked into a beautiful greenscape rarely found in apartment living. The managers have always been great but a special thanks goes out to Hector for always being attentive and thoughtful in his management here.
