After living here 8 years nothing has been repaired after repeated requests. Now I am being evicted for a broken toilet seat that I have brought to their attention multiple times. Negligence bordering on criminality and housing discrimination.

Stay away from this place! I lived there for several years prior to their major "remodeling" and a year afterward. Managers are rude ...incompetent and come and go. Maintenance is virtually nonexistant and untrained. The complex is riddled with black mold throughout the units...a serious health hazard by most accounts. I saw this first hand in our own apartment and others during the remodeling phase...in the window sills...behind walls and cabinetry. No attempt was made to eliminate the mold....only covered up during remodeling. Reports to Housing Authority were ignored. Bed bugs were another major issue...beware!! Cedar Crest is the absolute worst. Don't walk away from this poorly disguised ghetto......RUN. HUD needs to investigate this place and the management that runs it.

This is the worst place ever! Do not go here!I applied about 8 months Go for housing assistacne and have constantly been keeping in contact. The manager had told me over the phone that they had an opening for me. I went there in person and they gave my spot to another person. I called them out on it, and all the lady said that came back from maternary was, "oh, I'm sorry I just got back from maternity. We always document all contact with people on the waiting list." I said, "let me see my file." And of course there were no notes, so she says, "just because we don't document, doesn't mean we never called." Which they never did. And I even had her listen to the recorded call, and all she was able to ay was, " I just got back from maternity leave," talk about shirt customer service! I recommend all people to stay away from the place as well as the people who run it! I know someone who lives there now and they tell me that the management always loses her rent check! I couldn't believe that! Hey suckers if you're reading this you should know that I repored you all to the Bether Business Bureau! Good luck!

Never even been here before but upon speaking to the receptionist, I feel sorry for anyone who ever does. She was beyond rude and unprofessional. She had the brattiest attitude I've ever had the displeasure to experience. When I explained the reason for my call and asked if she could assist, she basically told me that finding the answer isn't "that hard" and hung up the phone. I can only imagine what their management is like and after reading some of the reviews, my own experience comes to no surprise.

Here's the thing people. Realize that your rent is CHEAP for the area and that you're in low-income housing. Therefore, they do not have the funds to have maintenance available at all hours. There will be some shady neighbors around and you will probably feel as if your walls are made of paper. That being said, this is one of the places where you will get the best bang for your buck. They've recently done upgrades and painted all of their units. Reasonable for the area.

Is it true how awful this place is? Because i was thinking of trying to stay here with my newborn and my son.
