My husband and I were in the market for a house and we hired Trina from WV Mountaineer Real Estate! She was truly rooting for us and was very dedicated to finding the perfect home for us. She was always on time, resolved the unexpected challenges, had answers for all questions we had and worked quickly to get us closed and in the house! We were closed and in our new home within a month from deciding this is the one we wanted to purchase. We had no problems working with her or her real estate agency. I worked with Mrs. Trina to find my home. She made it a very smooth and easy process and made sure that I knew what I needed to know every step of the way. Buyers beware. I entered a contact to purchase a home listed by WV Mountaineer Real Estate and was couple days past due in the purchase contract after receiving home inspection to inform the seller the home had some serious concerns. WV Mountaineer Real Estate immediately moved to inform me they were keeping my 4k earnest deposit since I had three days from receiving the home inspection to back out of the purchase contract. That’s fine, I was in violation of the contract so shame on me. The seller and I had moved past the inspection to come to an agreement to purchase the home. While the home was under contract, by me, it was still being listed to accept other offers. The seller and I did reach a verbal agreement and settled on a price to purchase the home. As the new contact for the new purchase price was being sent over for the seller to sign, they backed out last minute from the verbal agreement, and accepted an offer of full asking price. Ok that’s fine, happy they received the full asking price. I requested in good faith, since the seller backed out of our verbal agreement, that I would at least like to have my earnest deposit back. WV Mountaineer Real Estate still refused to return my earnest deposit. I guess my old school way of thinking that a hand shake, or verbal agreement, to sell something to another person stood for something, but sadly that must be an antiquated way of thinking. In my opinion, this was a distasteful way of doing business. I hope this review is useful to prevent something similar happening to the next uninformed buyer.

Working with Jan as of right now,Love love love her. She's a no b.s. kind of lady and I love that about her. She won't waste your time if it's not something you think you won't like,or not do-able with your type of loan.. Best place yet. After the 1st was kind of useless.. These guy's are great so far! Will update if things change 👍 Update, closing with Jan as we speak and besides the stress from other places she kept us mostly stress free.. Will absolutely recommend her to Anyone 👍
