Incredibly rude. Called about leasing a commercial property, was told that the listing was wrong, it was office space not retail space, so it wouldn't be good for what I want it for. Okay, I also need a office space, but before I can even get that out she cuts me off. I wish I could at least see the space, but I guess they don't want me in there. They then start inquiring about my budget and other things, even though I've barely gotten a word in edge wise so far. The second I told them I have my own broker, and I'm only contacting them to see the space (because they have posted NO photos on the listing) I get hung up on.

BEWARE! Stay away from and DO NOT do business any way, shape or form with this man. I was deployed to Africa, my wife purchased defective appliances from a tenant of Dennis. My wife couldn't return the items for a refund, because she was too busy, so, after I got back, I went to do it.

After arriving with the appliances in my truck, I met three individuals at the store/unit. I learned from "Downtown" Dennis that Rick, the person who had sold the defective appliances to my wife, was in jail. "Downtown" Dennis inserted himself into the issue when I became angry about the situation, and started dropping F-bombs and statements like, "Don't you know who I am? I'm F--k--ng Downtown Dennis man! I'm going to make this right man. I'm the landlord here man." Trying to impress me because I'm a 4.5 year combat vet and retired Solider, I have no clue? I recorded the whole conversation, so I wish I could post the audio file here.

Well, "Downtown" Dennis goes on to say that if I came back in a week, he'd make sure I got my money back, and directs the other remaining tenant to take care of it. Then, they unload the defective appliances and tell me to come back in a week to get my $500 back. I get his phone number and the number of the other guy (Joe I think) whose using the place to sell refurbished appliances. After a week, I start calling and texting. No answers or responses. I go back to the store, no one is there. I try again a week after that, still no reply or answer - so I leave a very short and very detailed angry message for "Downtown" Dennis in that he if he didn't get my money back, I was going to the police. Remember, he took the faulty appliances back into his possession onto his property.

So, I get a call a couple days later from an attorney, claiming that I no longer needed to contact "Downtown" and to work all communications through their office. So, I ask them to ask Dennis if he's going to give me my money back as he stated he would - and I informed the attorney that he took possession of the property. They say they'll discuss it and get back to me. They don't of course, so I call the attorney back like 10 days later, and he says, "Oh yeah, "Downtown" Dennis says he never agreed to that at all.” Then, I learn that Dennis has liquidated all the appliances, including mine. So, he made money off of the appliances I had returned on top if his SHAM of making sure I'd get my money back.

I am going to the police, don't know if I'll ever see my $500 or not, but he injected himself into the situation, and because of that he's culpable. As I said, this is a LOW INTEGRITY person, a scammer, liar, and a dredge to society. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A VETERAN!

Texted the person listed on the Craiglist ad. Through a short back and forth we set up a time to meet at the listed property. The realtor never showed. I called the company to complain and the lady who answered the phone said there was no one to complain to and her husband was out. When I asked why the realtor didn't show I was told to contact the realtor. No accountability, no respect for my time. Very disappointed.

I just purchased (2) commercial Building in Everett. Downtown Dennis Real Estate did a excellent job representing me. They are very professional and thorough. I will be more then happy to refer others to Downtown Dennis and use them again for buying, selling and leasing property in Snohomish County.
