Very friendly and helpful staff. He went above and beyond to get my family taken care of. 100% recommend using them. My kids had a blast!
I would recommend calling the day before to allow them time to get the gear setup beforehand.

This place is the best. Great people and great business. You can tell they truly care about their customers and getting them excited about the sport. The rental process is easy and they are open like every day. You cannot beat that! Yes you can get surf rentals in the winter too. I love this shop and the staff here. They are truly represent what surf/skate culture is about!!!

Great rental shop to work with. Our family of five were on vacation and decided to go to hurricane ridge ski area for skiing and snowboarding. We did our research the day before and was told rentals were available at North by Northwest surf co. I called to verify and the gentleman was so nice. We were fortunate to get a few skis and snowboards with our last minute plans. The guy was very understanding and personable. Made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend this rental shop for winter and summer needs, if we are ever in the area again we will come by to rent. Made our last day of vacation so worth it and run smoothly, my kids said skiing and snowboarding was the best part of the trip. Thank you so much.

I recently tried to rent a wetsuit from this surf shop and had a very disappointing experience. I'm 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, which seems like a pretty average size for someone looking to rent a wetsuit, yet they only had one large wetsuit available. Not only was it the only option, but it was also in terrible condition. Upon inspection, I found a hole in the right leg, and the hood was almost completely torn off. When I asked if they had a replacement, they said no. I returned it and received a refund, but the whole experience was frustrating. The guy working there (not the owner) was friendly, but it's hard to recommend a place that only has one wetsuit in such bad shape, especially for such a common size. The business model and lack of maintenance on their gear are major red flags. Would not recommend.

Love this shop very quality products the owner is willing to accommodate for special orders they have a lot of compassion to help you get what you need and to know what you should look out for If you were to ask me about needing surf gear or skate gear I would direct you to North by North West it's worthwhile to stop by and get your essentials here!

This place is awesome. Great service, easy going people. Really big selections for decks, boards and even skis. Plus list of other needs for your outdoor sport desires/needs. Really grateful for this local spot. My daughter just bought her very first REAL board and full kit. Tate threw it all together with a great high vibe and the entire experience was just so good. Love if there and will be back! Thanks! 🙌🏻 Plus there is a sweet coffee stand in the parking lot! Wins all around!

We had a great experience renting surfboards and wetsuits for our entire family. Tate was super helpful and made our whole experience fun. The rates were very affordable. It was by far our favorite day spent in the PNW so far.
