Never really ran into any major issues with Excell that couldn’t be resolved. Currently renting from them and have had a prior apartment from them, it’s always been a breeze for the most part. My current unit is getting concrete ripped up because there was a pipe leak underneath our unit floor (it’s an in-ground unit), although it was on short notice Connie helped my brother and I in relocating to an Airbnb for a week while our unit gets worked on (expenses paid for). We’ve had numerous small problems such as garbage disposal going out, major clogs in drains, light mold issues & connie has always hopped on the issue within a couple days (not sure I could say the same for other rental agencies, heard some horror stories lol). This has been the only rental agency I’ve worked with & I believe for first time renters it’s a walk in the park. They do before move in inspection's/walk through’s & give you a sheet of paper to fill out any improper or unsafe things wrong with wherever you may be looking to rent. As for my brother & I, we’ve had close to zero issues with Excell and working with Connie has been good over the past 2-3 years, can’t speak for anybody other than myself but I appreciate this company and what they’ve done for me.

Out of any place that I have ever Rented from, these guys are the absolute worst.

After agreeing to rent the property, I was informed that there would be an extra deposit for my 25 pound French bulldog.

I paid the double deposit, first month rent, and after all of that, it was nearly $5000.

After I moved in, it was clear that the place was not as clean as advertised (I was told that part of the nonrefundable cleaning fee was for the place to be professionally cleaned)

There was a dishwasher in the home, that was not plugged into any plumbing. The air filter in the furnace have not been changed for a very long time, indicating to me a standard from the company itself

Here we are, 10 months later, and I have purchased my own home. I went into the Excel office to talk about my options for getting out of my lease, And the conversation went very poorly

I was told that there would be $1000 fee to break the lease.

After moving into a dirty home that is in poor condition, paying over $20,000 in the last 10 months, a Double deposit for my tiny dog, I am being told more bad news

I don’t like the way that they do things here. They had been responsive throughout my tenure, but I felt that the condition of the property was not reflective of the price, And that they are greedy little pigs

I had a bad feeling about renting from this company when I initially moved in, but felt like I had no other option at the time. Anyone reading these reviews needs to take them to. This is not a good company to do business with.

This property managment company should not be in business. Rescheduled a showing of a duplex for rent then no call no show the day they reschedule to. Very unprofessional at the least. Dont rent from this company, they cant show up to rent a property how do you think they will respond if a renter has a problem. Got to me the worst property management company in the inland northwest.

Do NOT rent from this company. When we moved in paid a $500 cleaning fee, the house was not at all clean. We were told nothing about the HOA (we were specifically looking for HOA free homes so it was a great surprise to get a letter from them when we moved in thanking everyone for the $500 to help fix fenses around the neighborhood, and when we asked excell for the rules we never recieved anything) My husband had to do multiple repairs to the house on top of us having to call in over electrical issues (sparking cealing fan and couldnt use the microwave without it constantly poping the breaker) the microwave and dishwasher needing to be replaced after less than a year. When we moved in they blatantly lied that the oven had just been replaced, after 1 year it had to be replaced and repair guy checked the date it was 10 years old. Then had multiple issues with the water heater which also ended up having to be replaced that was nearly 25 years old and the only reasonthey finally replaced was because it started leaking gas. I had a light fixture fall on me and broke skin thankfully was only my shoulder. We were also lied to when we moved in that they planned on having the rotting fence replaced soon, after talking to the neighbors they had been fighting to get it replaced for 10 years, by the time we moved out after 2 years 3 6-foot sections of fence completely fell over; one happend while my 2 year old was in the back yard! To top it all off the customer service is atrocious! The lady they have at the front desk is lovey and helpful but to get repairs done you have to speak to your property manager which is never in the office or doesn't answer the phone and though their answering machine says they will get back to you in 24h that NEVER happens and when you can get ahold of them I was always met with alot of additude. The only reason we stayed in that house for as long as we did was because we had just done a massive coss country move when we got here. Of course they raised our rent after the first year even though you could rent much nicer homes in the area for much less and when we did move out naturally they took all of the $2200 for repairs like batteries for smoke detectors, new blinds, and paint. Basic ware and tear items 🙄 I thought military housing rental agency's were crooks. Yall take the cake.
