Lou and Gary Wendell went above and beyond in helping me pick out my new g3 Jet John 17ccj. Gary took the time to show me his boat and the various different modifications that he has made through the years to make boating and fishing more organized and optimal while out on the water. I 10/10 would recommend this business to any future boat buyers looking to buy a quality boat and receive superior service. Great showroom for boat lovers! They have new & used models. Order parts & they may have most needs in stock in their shop. Boat dock rentals & gasoline. Close to food options & shopping. Close to interstate ramps & route 60. Great family owned for over 65 years!

2022 Review. Bought a used boat from them in 2021 and started renting their slip. My salesmen Tom was great. Lou himself has always been nice and helpful. My real issues have been with their customer service after the purchase. Whenever I call with a question or need help, Lou's sons just act annoyed to have to talk to me. Mike has been the rudest my far. You can feel the irritation in his voice the moment he is forced to engage anyone. The service dept guy doesn't want to work on anything that isn't their new sales brand Avalon. It's like a pontoon that isn't Avalon is so much different he wouldn't know where to begin and he declines the work. The sons act entitled and know the market has changed and they don't need your business. Expect indifference and indignation with the simplest of questions or tasks. The attitude is infectious there so it bleeds over to their other employees. I really hate the way it's changed now that Lou is not as engaged and controlling things.

Best boat buying experience period. I found them through Google searches on G3 boats for sale. I traveled 4 hours to buy a G3 1860 CCJ DLX from pics on their site. Not only the best price within 500 miles of me, their customer service was outstanding. Here's what they did: tested the motor and hull before I arrived, gave me all paperwork ahead of time, took me on a test run on-site to show me how to operate everything on the boat-in the rain-in January, touched base with me every day for a week before the purchase, threw in life jackets and a fire extinguisher, toured the facility, met the owner-Lou, the son Mike was my salesman. I don't know these guys, but it's no wonder they've been in business for over 30 years. Every business should study how they treat customers.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. I get my boat parts and dock here because even though I bought my small boat elsewhere they treat me the same as their customers that buy 100k dollar boats. Boat up ethanol free fuel docks as well. Much better service than Charleston Marine.
