After another rental company completely cut off communication right before signing a lease, Property Management Services really stepped up to help us out! They were always great about communicating with us and answering all our questions during the paperwork process and during the move-in process. We had to put in a maintenance request about a month after moving in and a few hours later, they had scheduled a company to come check things out and the repair company was at our house the next day to assess the situation and come up with a solution. Their properties are affordable, especially for the region and its proximity to expensive vacation properties, and you get great support for that cost.

First off, I only gave 1 star because 0 was not an option. ....
Do NOT waste your time renting here. My family relocated to Garrett County and despite the terrible reviews we had a quick move we went with them because it was only rental large enough to accommodate my family in a quick amount of time. I should have stayed in a hotel until I sold my home in time to move into a new home!
Upon arrival the house was disgusting. When we looked at it we were told it would be professionally cleaned. It was not. There were old fake fingernails on the floors, used cue tips in closets, D-con in the moldy couch, mold, giant stains, everywhere. Since we moved from out of state she waved a portion of our deposit if we would clean it ourselves because they did not have time to.
Lynne Story insulted my intelligence on multiple accounts actually using it as a defense stating to me in emails that "you have no common sense"
Today is 4/13/20 we are in the middle of the pandemic of Covid 19 and Lynne the owner sent over a man to measure a window for a screen that he had already measured in February. The people who come for fixes also say that she and the company will never actually fix anything so they don't know why they waste theirs and our time sending them. Again they didn't give us notice as we have requested anytime they send anyone.
Oh, sometimes she sends drunk men in the evening to do fixes, that's fun being a mom with young children in the home.
PMS management have put my family in harm, they have allowed us to use a fireplace that gets "inspected every year" once we requested the documentation they kept ignoring us. Finally we said enough is enough you need to get this inspected or provide us documentation. They got an inspection and still did not give us the results. We assumed that all was well. Months later I said this isn't right something isn't working quite well here you need to get it reinspected. They then told us that it was not safe for us to use and that it was actually a fire hazard. Also, I called the chimney company and they have never had an inspection on this house EVER.
Also, the stars on this is deceiving, some of the 5 stars are actually employees. Lynne Storey's co workers gave it 5 stars!
If I am able to upload pictures of the move in condition I will. I even have a picture of a water filter that looks like it was rolled in mud.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. They came an dug up our water lines with no notice and ended up blowing our new hot water tank. They didn't fill the 8ft plus hole in our front yard or put the gravel back where our only parking spot is. They have caused more damage than anything. They are worthless slumlords. They don't fix anything they mess up.

Very very disappointed! She was sick with covid so I understand why she couldn't meet. But turn didn't even try to help me rent a place that she knew I really wanted. By the time I got a new realtor to help me, they place was rented.

No help what so ever. They make you pay $30 to fill out an application, then when you fill it you you never hear from them. I call them and schedule to look at houses, when I got there the agents knew nothing about the houses. They showed me a house in which I wanted to rent and when I asked them to sign a lease they said I wouldn't be able to move into the house for another 3 months. After they told me that they never asked to show me other houses nor did they ask if I was still interested. Waste of money and time, I ended up finding a house to rent through facebook.

PMS seems to corner the market in area. That has to be the only way they stay in business. I drove 8 hours to look at a house and was told by Kellie that we could move in ASAP so we had family lined up to help us move and had turned in the keys to our house we were in...only to find out that we couldn’t move in for 2 weeks. Fast forward to living in the house. PMS will call and leave a message that someone is scheduled to come in and perform work, sometimes the contractors show up and sometimes they don’t. PMS does not believe in the 24 hr advance notice of someone coming in the residence. PMS sends whomever, whenever, whether it’s convenient for the renter or not. The majority of our things that we stored in the basement were ruined by mold/mildew. What the mold and mildew didn’t ruin, the chipmunks did.
PMS did some sort of special with XOOM where our electricity would be serviced by XOOM or something of the sort and it would be cheaper, this was great. Thank you PMS! However, a few months later we get an electric bill for $1300.00. When we called XOOM we were told that the plan we were on was promotional and because PMS didn’t answer the numerous emails from XOOM to lock in our rate we were basically out of luck. Gee thanks.
We notified PMS (Kellie) that we would be moving at the end of our lease. Shortly thereafter, in April, Kellie called and said that there was someone scheduled to do a walk through of the home at 1 pm on Thursday. I got back from a trip to DE on Wednesday night. I spent the majority of the night cleaning, we have small messy children and I wanted the house to show well for PMS. 1:30 rolled around and no one showed up. I called PMS and was told, again by Kellie, that the people cancelled. Why didn’t anyone let me know that? Why was I cleaning like a crazy person for a cancelled showing?
Libby Anderson (owner of PMS) scheduled a realtor walk through as now the owners decided to sell the house. Again I cleaned the house, wth a 4 yr old and a 1yr old wreaking havoc and generally being little kids. I got up early that day and loaded the kids up, rode around with them for 3 hours while the realtor was supposedly there at our house. I take the kids back home and get a call from Libby. Guess what? The showing was cancelled and she forgot to let me know.
Lastly, if you rent from PMS, have plenty of money saved for when the lease is up. One example: a $45 move out inspection fee that is not on the contract however we are moving from the area and glad to be away from PMS so we didn’t argue.
We had a horrible experience with PMS and from what we’ve heard we aren’t the only ones.

We had mold at there rental. For 3 month I was try to make them come and fix the issue.
Issue was resolved after contacting county inspector.
New owner very unprofessional.
They got business only because is only place you can rent a house/apartment

Never have any issues getting ahold of someone. Called the next day after submitting my application to get more information and to fix any bugs. Very helpful.
