Omg Bartsch Management you got a winner when you added De West to your team. I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for De West and to share how fortunate I believe your organization is to have her as part of your team.

During the time I had the pleasure of interacting with De West, it became abundantly clear that she possesses an exceptional passion for her work and a genuine dedication to her tenants. Her commitment to helping people and ensuring their well-being is truly inspiring. She consistently went above and beyond to address any concerns and made everyone feel valued and respected.

When she left, she left a BIG void that has not been filled, and no one coming even remotely close to filling her shoes. While I was saddened to see "THEE BEST" property manager I ever encountered move on from our community, I am genuinely delighted to know that she is continuing to pursue what she loves most—helping others. Her ability to connect with people and her unwavering enthusiasm for her role are qualities that undoubtedly make her an invaluable asset to your team.

I am confident that De West will continue to make a positive impact at Bartsch Management, just as she did in our community. Thank you for recognizing and supporting such a dedicated and passionate individual.

I’ve been in my current apartment for four years now. Bartsch Management took it over like a year or two ago and the improvements made to the building are amazing. They fix any issues I have right away and any time I call they are courteous and polite. Keva is always helpful when I call the main number. There’s a great young man that answers when you call maintenance as well who is also very helpful. But the person I really want to shout out is Mark on maintenance. I have a young baby and he is so polite and considerate each time I have seen him. If he is unable to finish a task he will tell you when he will be back and actually comes back when he says he will. He’s such an asset to Bartsch!

I’ve been renting a studio apartment with these people for about two years, and our apartment manager never answers the phone when we have a complaint. The inside of the apartments are very dirty also. The women who rented to my husband and I, never contacts us back when she says she will- I do not recommend renting with these people. Not to mention, in our apartment complex, people who lost their apartment keys continuously leave rocks in the front door so that anyone or anything can come and go as they please. because of this, there is a mouse in our apartment- we’ve called to get this looked at- and they keep canceling on us. Don’t rent with these people

Shaun the leasing agent showed me the apartment I was interested in, looked great, had to go back to see the basement. The basement had three storage units when there should be four. I was interested. Giving him the paperwork was a hassle and demeaning. I'm section 8. They take Section 8 vouchers, however I have to make a certain amount just to live there. Didn't know that before. He needed to know how much I made and as much I explained to him how it worked. He needed to call the Housing Authority. If it takes that much trouble to live there, no need. Plus, you can't get a hold of him.... I was called by Bartsch Management and they apologized about my experience. Yet, the leasing agent was right. My story just didn't add up. Then I found out some more stuff that I didn't know before. And they want me to delete this so they don't look bad. Who cares?Soooo, I'm sorry. 🙄 Whatever.

I had to change this rating because my synopsis of this venue has changed.

This company was very helpful to me in transitioning from my previous residence into one of their properties. That remains true. However, there are some issues.

Their system charges me with late fees every month even though my rent is paid on time every month (sometimes even before rent is even due.) This explanation is that they are having "accounting issues."

Well for one, that's not MY problem. I paid the money that is required on time. Housing Authority pays their share every month on time.

The building is very run down and unkempt. There have been a few repairs, but only by repeated requests by me. The carpet in the hallway is filthy. The walls are filthy. There was a bedbug issue, but they addressed that promptly. I do have an elder bug issue now, but whatever pesticide used for the bedbugs seems to be keeping them at bay because I have dozens on dead elder bug and ladybug carcasses on my living room floor.

There are too many issues that are just the result of laziness and negligence. Everyone is busy, but you make time for things that need to be done. Either they need to hire more staff to ensure that tasks are being sufficiently address, or they need to reevaluate their priorities.

Shawn M. Gave me a showing of the unit and was knowledgeable about both the unit and the surrounding area. Definitely helped make my short notice move in date less stressful than it already was. Looking forward to see how Bartsch Management is to rent from!

We really appreciate Kevin's work to fix our bathroom sink problem. The sink stopper would not close off the drain. Kevin new exactly the issue, got the parts and returned and fixed it quickly. Kevin does excellent work, is easy to talk with and explains things so well. Thank you Kevin and thank you Bartsch Management.
