When I lived here the manager stole people's rent then left the state. New manager entered my place without warning because the last manager messed everything up. Called there main office and they said pay 3 months rent that was stolen or my family is getting evicted. I proved I payed. Found out the old manager messed up my lease so I left without completing it thank God. NEVER RENT FROM MCATHERAN MANAGEMENT.

THIS PLACE HAS GONE FROM GREAT PLACE TO LIVE TO A SLUM! I have lived here almost 3 years. When we first moved in, the grounds were in excellent shape, and the manager took care of all issues immediately! Since getting new management. The grounds are in shambles, the weeds are higher than the actual shrubs, the sidewalks are in disrepair and somebody could easily trip and fall injuring themselves! Today I counted 6 vehicles in front of my building without parking stickers. There's been one vehicle, that I complained about 3 weeks ago, with expired tabs from 2022. , and nothing has been done! Some of the shrubs died over the long winter, and they have not been removed or dealt with. The decorative grass has been cut and the ground underneath looks horrible! We get threatening letters about parking but the actual issues have not been dealt with! This used to be but is no longer a great place to live. I have gotten two phone calls with from the manager using threatening tones. Speaking of which, good luck actually catching her in the office! The manager keeps sending emails and calling us wanting us to renew our lease, that is the only time we hear from her. This place used to be worth the price! Now renter beware!

I've lived here for almost three years. And overall, it's been a great place to live. The apartments are nice, and although the price may seem high, it is much cheaper than some apartment complexes in Spokane that are equivalent in nature. Work requests have been done, the twice I've needed them, in a timely fashion. The apartment manager is there when you need her, but isn't overbearing--we get a monthly newsletter and emergent (as-needed) notifications taped to our door with anything we may need to know.

Now, for the bad. We have gotten a few threatening emails about dog poop not being cleaned up, as I'm sure a lot of apartment complexes do. However, not to just the guilty tenant that doesn't clean up, TO EVERYONE THAT HAS A DOG. This has never come to fruition, but I don't appreciate even being threatened to pay for someone else's mess. I have suggested using companies like PooPrints to find the culprits and punish them, but they never responded to the idea. Secondly, I had a car stolen in the parking lot and there have been reports of other tenants that have had their cars broken into. I suggested getting surveillance cameras that span the parking lot, but nothing has happened yet.

Don't let my bad experiences deter you from renting at this apartment complex. Like I said before, overall it is a great place to live! Definitely the nicest apartments in Medical Lake!

I have lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years. Trish has been excellent as a manager anything I have had a problem with ( has been very little) she is very quick to take care of. The apartments are clean and we'll taken care of. I love the fact they pet friendly and there is lots of pet stations. I would recommend these apartments to friends.

Good place to live, always feel safe, neighbors are respectful - approx 50-60% military. Maintenance issues are usually handled within the week, sometimes a bit longer.

Only complaints are some pet owners refuse to pick up after their pets resulting in fecal matter on the grass and sidewalks, and during the warmer months kids on bicycles and on foot run out in front of vehicles regularly - kids almost get hit regularly and the vehicles aren't even speeding.

Main problem would be management. They send out letters to ALL tenants threatening fines for other people not picking up after their dogs. Which have been added to monthly rent unlike friends of the manager have said in their false reviews on here. Most apartments I have lived in the past they just have you register your dog so this problem doesn't exist. Owners are useless as well. So if you have complaints don't bother contacting them. Last but not lease they encourage tenants to photograph other tenants if they see a lease violation and if you turn that in you could get some money so you got that going for ya if you wanna live with that.

New managment is horrible and very nosey. We got a tow notice on a car that was sitting in a spot too long during winter. Mind you, it hadn't even been sitting there for a week. We had a snow storm and they didn't have a plow truck out for 3 months. The parking lot was awful. She had told us before​hand every 7 days our vehicles needed to move, she then sent out a news letter telling people if their cars are not being drove for 2 or more days u have to park in the far parking lot. She harrased us about a vehicle we didn't have for 2 years even after asking us for our licence plate numbers that first year. They also like to do 48 hour notices on everyone, I think in one year we had 4.

Lakeside Apartments is in Medical Lake Washington, just west of Spokane WA. It has the small town feeling, close enough to the large town to have access to basically everything you want and need.
The apartments are nice, the grounds well cared for, ample parking, with caring staff. Relatives of ours recently moved in, and we all have a good feeling about this new home they’re in. Behind the apartment is a small lawn area and beyond that is a field and view of a hill in the distance. It’s peaceful.
