Edit: 1 year later I'm even more unhappy if that is possible. Our dumpster is now getting picked up randomly every 2-3 months. I've watched the truck drive right past. Often there is a good chunk of the trash left in the dumpster,in our yard and everywhere but the garbage truck when the driver leaves. It's absolutely despicable. The rates keep going up continuously as well. If you value yourself or your business at all do NOT work with this company. PS if you dare to call and complain because your trash wasn't picked up for months they tell you you'll need to pay extra for a special off route pickup. Have they ever considered picking it up on route on time? A novel idea apparently.

They don't stick to their contract. They swapped our dumpster for a smaller one 8 months into a 5 year contract that specifically stated dumpster size on it. The bill goes up monthly despite the contracted price that waste management was honoring. Trash gets picked up whenever they feel like it. Maybe 3,5 or 6 weeks. It's a toss of the hat and hope it lands on you while your dumpster sits overflowing with trash. Customer service is terrible if you can even get someone on the line. Of course I'm stuck in my contract,but they can break their end however they feel like and I just have to pay more. Worst trash company out there.

LAZY must be a requirement to work here. I have never had a garbage man like I have now. Almost every time they come, I have to clean up after them because they dropped things and didn't pick them up. They don't take cardboard unless it's broken into a 12x12 square it would seem...and I watched the driver throw the cardboard in with the waste, rather than with the recyclables. If I had a choice of who our village used...it would NOT be GFL.

One thing worth mentioning, when I called in, the lady I spoke with was very professional and very understanding. We'll see if the pickup service gets any better....but doubt it.

Looks like a fine place, but hours listed were wrong, drove 45mins with a full trailer to ger there, and arrived to a locked gate. I had this issue with thier thorp location once as well. Once GFL took over i guess no more weekends, sucks for someone who works 60+ hours a week to get things done on the weekend.

Trash pickup is fine but don't use for bulk items pickup. It's been over a week since we were supposed to have some bulk items picked up and it's still sitting waiting for them to come and get. Keep getting told "it's on the schedule for today or tomorrow" but they never come.

Since our disposal dumpster changed to GFL our bill has over doubled.

Nice to have a place to take your junk, but way too expensive. I've been in other states that would charge $5. Compared to $35 here. That's why you see more and more junk being dumped along the back roads.

GFL stands for Good F’n Luck dealing with these people. Worst trash service I’ve ever dealt with.
