Terrible customer service in the sporting goods, they would all rather just sit and talk to each other (co-workers) than help customers or ask if they need help.. I will take my business elsewhere and let people know how bad of experience it was. Went to store on 03/29/25

The hardware part is downstairs or else you can drive around to the back side and walk right it. Main floor is guns and ammo. Big selection of hunting and sports shooting equipment. The hardware part has just the very basics. People everywhere asked to help me. Very impressed. Most places you can't find anyone to help. Would definitely go back.

For the small town of Montello , I would give it a Double 5 if I could. It's the Fleet Farm of small town living. It's a must to go to.

The sandwich place in here is great! We were here for a cabin trip, and we stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Prices were reasonable and wide sandwich variety, the staff were great! Definitely will be back.

Always fill my propane tank here. The downstairs hardware store and upstairs store carry just about anything you might need for all your home or camping needs. A true grocery store and laundromat is located in the vacinity. I truly love these place!!

HOWEVER, THE SPEED LIMIT IN TOWN IS 25 MPH!!! I REPEAT 25MPH. DO NOT GO 26MPH. If you do it will cost you alot!!

Trust me, I know from experience. Got my first ticket since 1986 in this town. That is in 37 years!! 😞

I had an issue with something that I purchased from here and had only expected to get advice . Tony at the gun counter, in my opinion and from past experiences, went above and beyond and did more than resolve my issue. To be treated so fairly with no issues and to leave there happier than the day before, validates the reason I love Montello. The people here are great and have welcomed me every time I come.
