Kate was nothing short of an AMAZING realtor for us. We had initially been working with another realtor (big name, big company type) and there was zero effort on that realtor’s end to help us find a house or even communicate back when we contacted her. We lost multiple houses because of that realtor’s extreme delay in making offers or getting back to us when we called. We decided to find a new realtor and went with Kate Curran after a friend recommended her. It was the BEST decision we could have made. We called on a Sunday morning and she had showings set up almost immediately. It was such a stark change from the lack of effort we got from our first realtor! We were extremely impressed with Kate immediately, and she did not fail to continue impressing us. She went absolutely above and beyond to find us the perfect house- and we had pretty particular wants and needs. We had gotten so used to doing our own research on available houses (from the lack of help from our previous realtor) that when she recommended we see a certain house, we weren’t very interested because we had already seen the listing and thought it wasn’t right. Kate politely pushed us to take a look anyways because she thought this could be the one- and she was so right! We could not have been ANY happier that we went with Kate and Hillside Realty and that we trusted her to look out for our best interests. We were up against another party who had also made an offer on our house, but when we saw the house and knew we had to have it, Kate made sure she did everything needed to close the deal for us. Her negotiation skills were excellent and her communication and response time was absolutely outstanding as well. She went way out of her way to make sure we understood the whole process and all options thoroughly, and if she didn’t know an answer to one our our questions, she did not hesitate to be honest about that and very quickly would do her reasearch or reach out to someone who could get that question answered for us— we really respected that especially. We absolutely would not hesitate to work with Kate again or to recommend her to friend or family looking to purchase or sell a home or property!
