Overall, I’ve So far, I had a great experience with Foxboro. They have a great online portal that makes paying your rent simple so you never have to worry about paying for a stamp or filling out an envelope. The same portal works for any repair you need around your house. They do offer an after hours emergency line if it’s an emergency.
I had a slight hiccup where I over, expected something and they still work with me and understood since and going forth. I have had no problems with them. I would highly recommend them to anybody as long as they’re willing to also follow the rules of the lease that they sign. rules go both ways and I understand that.
They are also understanding and willing to give almost anyone a chance to rent as long as they are willing to follow through and prove that they are worth being rented to. Thank you, Foxboro.

They messed up big time on my lease. I was supposed to get 1 month free. I got 1/2 a month the other half was supposed to be at the end of my lease. Then they turned my app off when sale of the property was going through. I was trying to pay my rent and contacted them called left voicemails and texts no answer. Then get a bill saying I owe for late rent! I tried you didn't turn my portal back on and then say oops it was a technical error and turn it on...... and still charge ne late fees when I was trying to pay I was doing my part in trying to contact and communicate! The error was on their end not mine and I was even in contact with the new owners about it as well!

We've rented from foxboro for about 5 years now and have never had any issues. Maintenance requests are always timely and they let us know in advance when they'll be out to fix something or replace something. They are, by far, the best rental company we've rented from.

Foxboro was our 3rd property management company in the 10 years of renting. Windows without seals or locks, gapping holes in the siding, worn out carpet, there techs are nice guys but can't get approval for work to get done. For instance the deck was falling apart. Nothing was ever done. 10 years never late with rent. Deposit has never been returned.

Ownership of my apartment recently changed hands and is now overseen by Foxboro Property Management. I had a huge influx of tiny, tiny flying insects on one of my windows, so showed photographs of the 'hatch' to office personnel Madison and Kayla. I am extremely impressed with their genuine and immediate response to the matter. They scheduled Duane, one of their maintenance people, to come the next morning to assess the problem. They did some research and promptly advised me what they were and how to get rid of them. I'm happy to say it all worked and my apartment is now bug free! Also, they followed up afterwards. Thank you Foxboro Property Management!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Foxboro Property Management tonight. While at Kwik Trip, an elderly man came in asking for help, as he had accidentally locked himself out of his apartment and didn’t have a cell phone to call anyone. I offered to assist him and called Foxboro’s emergency line, hoping they would help, but was told they wouldn’t assist in letting him back into his apartment after hours and that he would need to call a locksmith. This man had no family nearby, it was cold outside, and he was clearly in a vulnerable position.

It’s appalling that a property management company would leave a tenant stranded under these circumstances, especially an elderly person in need. Foxboro clearly does not care about the safety or well-being of their tenants. I would strongly advise against renting from them if you value having a property management company that truly cares.

Previous Issues:
Many made up fees. I.E.- a fee to renew your lease. They act entitled to get extra money for these pretend fees.

Lost our check, resulting in an eviction notice. Later they found it. They recommended we "still pay the late fee" so our payment is up-to-date with thier billing department. They did waive that after disputing it.

Our cat passed so we needed to remove her from our lease. There's a large fee for that even though we were submitting it with the lease renewal. We paid extra a few months for a pet fee even though she was not with us. Which i don't mind that part, just that they still wanted to charge a fee. They ended up waiving it after we disputed that.

I have heard horror stories from our neighbors and a coworker about when it is time to move out. They basically make up charges to keep your deposit so if you do rent from them there's no point in trying to leave it move-in-ready, because they will charge you either way. For my co-worker they actually moved the next people in before her lease was up and she still had items in the house.

My Current Issue:
I am being charged a ton of money due to the first time I couldnt move my vehicle for not even 2in of snow for thier plows. I pulled my van out of the garage during the previous warmer days to clean it out. The temperature dropped and my battery ended up dead, I explained that. I explained I am on maturinty leave and struggling financially. I explained my van was pulled close to the garage (less than an inch) and 2 tires weren't even on the drive way to the vacuum could reach the van. The small part they could not plow is our personal driveway that does not affect anyone but us. They suggested my "room mate" pay for it so I don't get a "5 day notice". My husband is picking up all the financial slack due to my maturity leave. So now we are spending this weekend packing up because I am not sure how i am going to find $100 for thier silly charge. Ontop of being sleep deprived, trying to heal from giving birth, trying to make ends meet, selling things around the hosue for groceries. They don't care about you, but they'll tell you with happy disposition "we understand" and that "all we had to do we reach out to prevent this". As you can see from other comments, thier communication is not great. I didn't know i could text them. Let alone they would even see i tried to reach out to them before the plows got here.

I will eventually leave reviews on other websites and contact BBB. I never left a bad review about thier mistakes because in the end they worked with me. Mistakes happen, they have a lot of tenets and it's hard to get to everyone. But they are desperate for an extra $100 for 1.9 inches of snow i guess.

If you're thinking about renting from Foxboro Property Management, I strongly recommend reconsidering. Our experience with them was riddled with excessive, unjustified charges and downright dishonest practices.

Despite leaving our apartment in pristine condition, Foxboro charged us for an absurd six-hour cleaning fee totaling $220 – an outrageous amount for a unit we left spotless. Adding insult to injury, they also tacked on a $348 “paint charge” with no explanation. There was absolutely no damage to the walls, no scuffs, nothing. This was simply a blatant attempt to pad their profits by gouging us for every possible dollar.

On top of that, we were saddled with consistently high electricity bills ranging from $150 to $250 a month, despite keeping our two-bedroom apartment at a steady 70 degrees year-round and using electricity responsibly. The final statement included an “estimated water bill” of $200, further draining our security deposit without proper justification.

We’ve never encountered a landlord who was this dishonest, so we didn’t think to document everything before we left. That trust was a mistake. Foxboro took full advantage of our goodwill, leaving us with a measly fraction of our deposit.

Save yourself the frustration and financial loss – find a property management company that values integrity. Foxboro Property Management is the opposite, and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.
