We really love our apartment, and is a great neighborhood. We moved in back in September of 2024, and we love the amount of storage space there is, as we had to downsize from a 4br house in Utah to a 2br apartment. The last place we stayed at was charging $110 a month for the two tiny storage lockers. The storage, on balcony is larger than, the two storage lockers we had to pay for. We also think that, $40 for covered parking is a really good deal. We also really like the trash valet. I also forgot to mention the zero dollars down deposit, and having it adjusted into our rent price saved us from literally completely emptying our savings for a deposit, and rent. Again our experience has been great, and we look forward to staying in our cozy apartment.

I've lived at The Villas at Portage Creek one year now, and I am very happy that I decided to call it home.

It's a quiet, clean, well maintained and well managed property. It's situated in a safe neighborhood and conveniently located within a short walking distance to public transit, Safeway, gas stations, a few local eateries, a selection of fast food restaurants, a veterinarian, a Banner bank, two Starbucks (one located in the Safeway), a dentist, two autoparts stores, and a 7 Eleven, which provides the neighborhood with 24 hour grocery shopping; all of this is within just a few blocks of each other and The Villas. The property is also a short drive to the local hospital, clinics, schools, parks, and historic downtown Arlington, where you can find even more local restaurants (I recommend The Bistro San Martin), taverns, shopping, banking, mechanics, a seasonal farmers market, and everything else you could need. Commuting to and from the property is convenient with its close proximity to Hwy 9, which is only a few blocks away, and I-5 being less than a ten minute drive away.

The Villas also have direct access to some very peaceful and beutiful wooded nature trails, which are located right beside the property.

Parking here is very convenient and plentiful; free parking spaces are on a first come first serve basis, but are smartly limited to one vehicle per household, so they are rarely in short supply. Street parking, which is located within the property, is also available. For thoes who desire covered, assigned parking spots or secure garages, they are also available for a low monthly free.

The Villas at Portage Creek are professionally and dutifully managed by on-site management and maintenance staff; Maintenance work orders are promptly and efficiently adrresed, and the property manager, Leilani, is an absolute treasure. She's attentive, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her tenants and their well-being, and goes above and beyond in order to care for this property by keeping it safe, clean, well maintained, and a place that residents can proudly call home. She is no dout a valuable asset to The Villas, it's owners, and to the people and families who live here.

If you're considering moving here, don't hestitate or pass it up, I'm certainly glad I didn't. I truly hope to be able to call The Villas home for many years to come, and I hope that you can too!

I just moved in less than a week ago, and I already feel so at home!! The property and apartment are beautiful, and the staff and residents are very friendly! I had an issue with my dishwasher, and they had maintenance here within hours. I work nights, and have to sleep during the day, and have had no issues with noise inside, or outside the apartment. This is a great place to live, and me and my Mini Yorkie
are happy to call it 'home'!

UPDATE!!
After almost 5 years, I am still here and in love with my HOME! The staff-Leilani in particular-are very attentive to the residents here and our needs. The grounds are always beautifully kept, and the breezeways and sidewalks are always tidy and free of debris.
My neighbors have been my neighbors for years, and it is friendly place to live!

I used to live in this beautiful community for 10 months now , it is very nice apartment with very professional and nice management! I really highly recommend this apartment, I am so sad to leave, and I am sure I'll back some day!
The apartment is so clean and always the maintenance guy come the same day you requested a service.
The neighbors are friendly and nice, it is very quiet neighbor. For future resident you will love this place, good luck.

UPDATE TWO: We have been here for two years now and still absolutely love it. Leilani is amazing & so kind, the repair staff are so fast. I’ve never been so happy with office staff at any place I’ve lived before. Literally the best place ever. The only thing I do not fully enjoy is the trash valet / dumpster issue, I wish there was an option to not have to pay for it or not pay the full dumpster fee as i stated below; we do not even use it enough since we barely fill our personal trash bin up in a week but other than that, zero complaints at all. Super close to all the schools in the district and we can walk to the grocery store, it’s that close! We will be here a very long time! It feels like HOME here ♡︎

UPDATE! - we have lived here in a refurbished townhome for 3 months now and I cannot recommend enough. Don’t let the close space to neighbors fool you, this place is SILENT! Kids laughing during the day sure, it’s summer time - but night time? dead silent! We came from a place that was loud & full of drug use, this place is like Heaven. We spend our days in the backyard, we have a car but walk to the stores & restaurants anyway because they are so close - there is zero trash, they keep it so clean here!!! Repairs all done within the same day, literally. The only downside I can think of is that I love the trash valet, but I hate that I’m also getting charged per day/$42 a month for a dumpster that’s 5 steps away from me. Love having my trash picked up at night at my door, don’t mind paying $25 a month for that but don’t like that I’m still having to pay an extra $42+ for a dumpster on the days the valet comes. Seems really pointless to me personally. I make a point to only use the dumpster on Saturday (sometimes I’ll just wait and not even use it at ALL because Valet comes Sunday night), but me & everyone else have to pay 7 days a week for it? I’m hoping they will listen to those concerns (neighbors feel the exact same) and make some changes because other than that, this place is perfect. Honestly. Amazing staff who are so helpful and a nice, quiet, SAFE place to raise my kiddo. Hear the school district in this area is incredible too! Will definitely here here a very long time, just really hoping they work out the trash valet / dumpster charges if they require trash valet too. Thanks everyone at The Villas!!!

moving in process review: Leilani from the leasing office is so kind and compassionate, there is zero judgement or discrimination. Leilani has been a saint through all of this. I am coming into the community with my toddler after living in a DV shelter, then a crappy low income place. We drove up in my beaten down car, and she greeted me outside like I was an old friend of hers. I started my conversation off with Leilani as, “i know i don’t look the best on paper, but I am working so hard to give my child a good life.” She related to me, never judged, and talked me through the process in a way that I felt it was obtainable after barriers of being told no repeatedly. She made me feel like I was a real human after so much hate and judgement that I’ve gotten used to. She has taken the time to explain things to me in a way I can understand and get excited about, made time for me and my millions of questions, repeatedly advocated for me when she could have turned me away, and given me and my child the foundation to build a happier, SAFE life together. I am thrilled that fate brought me Leilani, she is the number one reason why I chose The Villas at Portage Creek. I am so grateful for her and cannot say enough good things!

I was recently renting from the village at portage creek, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am just now fully moved out and waiting to see how they handle me getting my deposit Back. I started with a year lease at 1850 per month for a three bedroom. after the year was up they bumped my monthly rent to 3000 for a six month lease. after the 6 month lease was up I was already upset at the amount increase for a six month lease, now the month to month could be up to 6800 for one month of rental. I was appalled at this. I decided not to do this for obvious reasons. I feel they were price gouging, as they knew what myself and my two roommate's were making monthly. This is a horrible practice and should be illegal. It is shame full for this to happen. one of my employees who is in the building next to mine, for is month to month was only 2000. The apartment are old the carpet had not been replaced old appliances and in general just worn down. As I said I would not recommend this apt complex or it rental company to anybody. Shawn Larkin
