Weāve been living at Southpointe Villas for a year now and just renewed our leaseāthis time upgrading to a larger apartment. I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Ms. Robin, our leasing consultant, for her outstanding service and support throughout this process.
From the beginning, Ms. Robin has been incredibly attentive, patient, and proactiveāespecially as we made some last-minute decisions regarding our unit. She went above and beyond to ensure we found a space that truly fit our needs and made the transition feel seamless. Her professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go the extra mile made a lasting impression on our family.
Weāre excited to continue calling this community home, and weāre deeply appreciative of team members like Ms. Robin who make it such a welcoming and accommodating place to live.

(Amending my original review) We did have some pretty unfortunate events happen when we moved in and we're still awaiting an update on our security system but I will say the management team took care of our issues expeditiously. We absolutely love our 3 bedroom unit! Every personnel that lives on site takes pride in doing so and that speaks volumes. We are very pleased by how well our concerns were addressed and tended to and we look forward to this being our home for a long time. I will say that the parking situation is not the greatest. It does seem like there is more visitor parking than resident parking and we have to park pretty far from our unit but we are happy to call Southpoint Villas our new home.

THEY DONāT PAY ! I am writing this to receive help so that the owner of the property or the person in charge of paying can become aware and obligated and pay! I have been begging them for almost 6 months to pay me for the cleaning work I did and all I receive are excuses! that the owner does not want to pay! that there are no funds! I am already frustrated of asking to be paid for something that is legally mandatory for them! How long do they wait for you as a resident to pay? They fine you if you don't do it on time, they take you to court and evict you, but they are so unconscious and demoralized that they do not care that the families of the workers need to receive payment for their work! I will continue writing to them as many times as necessary until I receive payment for the work I did in 2024.

I had the pleasure of having Quincy assist with some repairs in my apartment, and I couldnāt be more pleased with the service. He was prompt, professional, and efficient in addressing the issues. Not only did he resolve everything quickly, but he also took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. My husband and I are currently residents and moved in August 2024. Since we got here we have faced several flooding and plumbing issue. This issue has caused mold in our kitchen. We have address it with management multiple times and unfortunately have been ignored.
With that said, the maintenance crew is absolutely amazing. They are trying their hardest to find a solution to our problems (which most our next door neighbors are also facing) within their means. We are so very grateful for them as they seem to be the only ones to understand the urgency of the problems within the property.
I urge management and corporate to do better. Your property is falling apart and is facing serious problems but you are not putting in the funds to get it fix. Management does not care for the well being of those in this property
Period. We will not be renewing a lease. We are counting down the days.

Mrs. Robyn has been nothing but helpful. This is my first apartment and sheās done nothing but made me and my roommates feel at home. Now i wouldn't normally address this but i noticed a review from about a weak ago about Mrs. Robyn from an ex neighbor āReba Hartā. Ms Reba also tried to address my mother as this āhorrible neighborā whole time she was the worst neighbor you could imagine. Imagine having to wake up at 6am because your upstairs neighbors arenāt considerate enough to think āoh maybe others are still sleepā. Imagine working from home and not being able to focus because you hear constant banging and balls bouncing all day EVERYDAY! When we asked them to quiet down please her response was ātheyāre just kidsā which is unacceptable. Growing up my younger brother and I lived on the third floor and never behaved in the way she let her kids behave. The second time i went to ask them to quiet down they acted like they werenāt home. So for her to say all those bad things about Mrs. Robyn is crazy because she gave them an opportunity to move to a different unit and they clearly didnāt want to. And for her to say that management said kids arenāt allowed outside is a lie lol. Iāve lived here for almost 6 years in a different unit and have always seen kids outside just being kids. Ms. Reba knows why she has violations and if it really came down to it the management could provide dozens of emails of proof of why they received the violations. Honestly didnāt want write this but these apartment are good and iāve felt safe and comfortable here for years. Itās affordable and thereās many stores and shops near which is so convenient for me. If youāre considering moving here i think you definitely should!

They ask people to post 5-star just to bash a person and not even talk about the apartment complex... if that doesn't tell you what you need to hear, then maybe this place is what you need? Lol
Looking for a high prices apartment without all the luxuries? This is your place! Want a gate that never works and anyone can come in after thinking you're paying for a gate community? Jack pot! Have a emergency like your ceiling is pouring water? Grab a bucket and wait a hour until someone finally comes! I only lived here for 6 months and it was nothing but anxiety and high emotions the whole time. You can't contact the front unless you call them they won't respond to emails. They love to call right before they close so you have no way to contact them back instantly. And then it's phone tag after that. Have kids? This is NOT the place. They're constantly sending out emails about how kids are not allowed to basically be outside. You know in a "gated" community... if you have a problem with a neighbor and you come to Robyn about it she'll lie to your face and tell you not to worry. But in reality after 6 months of putting up with a horrible neighbor they give YOU the option to switch apartments or break your lease. Because that's what a mother of children wants to do is move after 6 months from already moving. Management have no emotions and could care less about anyone's situations but sure love to lie to your face š they love to loop hole the lease so you get violations but when asked for proof of these violations they never have them. Apartments are hard, living near other people is hard, but it shouldn't be made to feel like you have to walk on egg shells in your own home you pay for. Management picks and chooses who they'll actually care about and listen to. So if your looking for a place to make you feel like you live in a toxic place this is the spot! Even the maintenance men told me to get out as fast as I could because they know the apartments are falling apartment and they can't keep up. I'm fair warning people and don't wish for some crummy automatic response. This place failed me and don't want it to happen to another person looking for a home. Good luck on the apartment search! Stay away from this one if you enjoy being happy!

I had to delete my previous review to add a new one so I have my older review from 3 weeks ago below. Many of the reviews have complained about management and one of the biggest issues I face here is the fact the apartment complex has constant turnover and new faces. Anytime I see some improvement with a management team they leave and new issues spring up with the new one. Iāve had issues with a disorderly male neighbor throughout 2024 and have had him leave nasty threatening notes and was told to keep calling courtesy patrol and even the police because documentation would lead to him being evicted. He calmed down and I assumed he was leaving this month (after being told by the office team) to my surprise heās gone back to causing problems and we have a new manager that has no idea about the issue and I was just told to call the police. There will be no solution and no eviction and I was lied to by more than one person. Nothing is solved and the only good thing about this place that it was safe for women and children but I guess thatās changed.
Iāve put up a lot with this apartment complex but had to leave a review due to the leasing office inability to handle maintenance orders at a reasonable timeframe and lack of good customer service. Expect your work orders to take several days and yes you will have to call and check for updates with them. My toilet has not worked and it has been a week. I call to see what is going on and you would think I would get the standard āIām so sorry and let me see what I can do,ā but do not receive an apology and just get told I have to wait till Monday. When I pointed out I shouldnāt have to call for updates the girl just said āI understand.ā No apology like you could tell she really didnāt give a damn and wanted me off the phone. Also the previous reviewer is correct and they donāt answer the emergency maintenance. Iāve tried calling in the past and they never pick up. This apartment is not a luxury apartment at all. The low quality of staff, the lack of interest or care in maintaining a beautiful property (when will yāall power wash the breezeways?) the lack of consistent and a reliable maintenance team proves that this place is just subpar and not even close to luxe.
Iāve lived here when it was still called Chesterfield and the leasing staff had fresh baked cookies everyday like the Doubletree Hotel and they remembered your name after seeing you two times and now look what it has become. This will probably be my last year here and itās such a shame. Also I know the leasing office will act like they care and will send their typical response about emailing but itās all hogwash. Please actually care about your tenants and about your property and maybe you wouldnāt struggle to keep people here or move in.
