I had emailed Jeff about a rental he had available and he said he would have the manager Angelica reach out to me. She text me the next day. I asked a few questions and said I would like to set up a showing. She said she couldn’t do the weekend because her whole household had Covid. I told her my availability for each day for the following week. She said she could do 530 Tuesday or 3 Friday. I tell her 530 Tuesday works for us. Absolutely no reply from her confirming the showing. She doesn’t even open the text just leaves it as “delivered.” I thought that was a bit odd. I would expect some sort of reply such as “see you then” or any sort of confirmation especially from a realtor. Tuesday morning comes. I reach out to her to confirm the showing. She claims she’s waiting for a Covid test to come back and asks if we can do the showing Friday instead. I tell her sure 3pm Friday works. Absolutely no reply again. Leaves the message as “delivered” again. In fact that was the last I heard from her. Friday morning comes I text her to confirm the showing. No response. 3pm comes I go to the duplex that I was trying to see because it’s only 5 minutes across town. Maybe she’ll be there, NOPE! I text her tell her that we’re there. No response. Definitely NOT the level of professionalism or communication you would expect from a real estate company. After a quick google search and seeing the other numerous bad reviews with similar issues, her not showing up may have been a blessing! Don’t waste your time with this company look for other options! I have included a screenshot of our conversation or lack of conversation you could say!

Horrible Landlords with horrible morals and ethics. Would never recommend renting from them. Will tell you they have a tenant ready to go for a lease break and then last minute say it’s for the next month so they can scrape one last rent payment out of you to fill their slimy pockets. Despicable humans.

I have lived in the Primrose apartments for a few years now and can't complain about the response time of my property manager Angelica. I have always gotten fast responses back about any questions I have. Big or small. The rent is fair and the apartment complex is in a quiet Neighborhood. I love having a full size washer and dryer right in my apartment and a garage for storage on the property. I have lived in a number of apartment buildings and would have say these are the quietest. The walls are pretty sound proof. I rarely hear my neighbors in their units. I would not hesitate to suggest these apartments to friends and family.

We lived in the Woodfield Apartments for 2½ years. A great place to live, well maintained, and friendly people. The on-site manager was friendly, approachable, and for the most part available when needed. The underground parking was great, especially in the winter.
I took away a star because of one incident. After we put in our 2 month notice, we discovered a squirrel and babies living in the space between our ceiling and the lofted roof. We contacted them and sent in work requests multiple times to take care of it and heard nothing back from them. We assumed they did nothing because we were moving out soon.

We have lived here for over 15 years and since Johnson and Hellekson took over as property managers, there have been many, many improvements to the interiors as well as the exterior of the buildings/property. We have one of the older units with original, outdated carpet and linoleum and have been offered to upgrade if we want. Any issues that we have had (I can count on one hand!) have been handled extremely quick and have also been followed up on. They work with you if you have any issues - open communication and honesty go a long way! The resident portal makes it super easy and efficient to pay rent, set up maintenance orders or even just to drop a quick note…..I would highly recommend renting from these guys- you can tell that they take pride in their properties as well as taking care of their tenants 🙂

Hi! So my fiancee and I have been renting here for over a year and a half now; our landlady Angelica is so helpful and BEYOND responsive! I have been messaging her about small things over the last few weeks and she has been on top of it, and she is so nice💖
The apartments are AMAZING by the way; amazing value for what you get, as well as being super well taken care of. The sidewalks and driveways were always plowed in the winter, and even some of the residents will go out of their way and help around the grounds if they see anything out of place (myself included). Overall, 10/10 for sure, I would say the BEST experience with renting i have ever had💖😌
