We were thinking of making a purchase of a DR Horton home in southeastern Wisconsin but with the community being very new, felt we should see a more mature Horton community so we drove down to visit The Townes at Oak Creek in northern Illinois. Once there we met Dan Schafer the New Home Specialist there and told him our story. Even though he knew we weren’t going to make a purchase there, he spent about an hour with us showing us the development, walking us through models, pointing out features. If we were headed to northern Illinois, this would have been an easy pick for us. Dan was extremely friendly and helpful and the community was attractive and the resident we spoke with independent of Dan was happy with the build quality and the community. My wife Tiffany and I visited the Townes at Oak Creek in September 2023 Marie assisted us with the tour she seemed nice but was not very enthusiastic about the subdivision didn’t shed much light on the positives and what the community had to offer. We did like the homes however did not purchase at this time. Seven months later on April 6th 2024 we revisited again and met Michelle McLaughlin what a breath of fresh air she was energetic and very enthusiastic. She took us on a tour communicated all the positive aspects of the community and what it had to offer. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. We left this time with a better understanding of
what the Townes at Oak Creek provided as a home. Four days later on April 10th we purchased our home and signed the contract. Michelle was very genuine and provided us with great insight in making our final decision. She is a credit to the DR Horton Company and we thank her for the superb 5 star service. If anybody is interested in purchasing a beautiful home at the Townes at Oak Creek you need to ask for Michelle McLaughlin she is the best home specialist!!
