Old apartments! Outdated and expensive! Laundry rooms are always not working!
Everything breaks in apartments! Sinks and showers always clogging up!
Spiders! Spiders! Spiders everywhere!!
Countless construction at 4 am even on weekends!
They raise the rent every year $150+ which is crazy considering these apartments are NOT worth $2,468 for ONE BEDROOM OLD OUTDATED apartment with NO washer and dryer!! GET your money's worth elsewhere! DONT DO IT! AND they have a BIG sewage issue here! EXPECT constant sewage leaks around the complex!!!! Your water will be SHUT OFF basically once a week for the entire day till 9pm without notice because of their constant issues with leaks!

I wish there were negative stars and i would give that ONLY for the behavior of the leasing office staff with the tenants.

Location: Very convenient with major offices, schools, stores and even train and bus stations at walking distance.
Maintenance: Prompt
Price: Our prices shot up right after 1 year of stay and was not worth the amenities and appliances in the apartment. The appliances are quite old, there is no in house washer dryer.
Reason to move out: High prices for the amenities and extremely arrogant leasing staff.
Very unpleasant experience with the leasing office manager Mr. Pascual, I have rented multiple apartments in the US and have never ever been subjected to such rude behavior by any of the apartment management and staff. One such instance was when I was literally harassed during my notice period over an almost invisible red color mark near our vanity mirror threatening me that i'd be charged for entire carpet replacement. None of the apartments i've rented have ever dropped in multiple times into my apartment for move out inspection. When no issue could be found, the property manager took that small spot as an alibi to keep harassing me. That spot was easily removed with soar and water which I already told him we'd do the day of move out but he wouldn't listen. Ideally we'd lived in that apartment for over 2 years and a free carpet cleaning should've been done by the management within that time frame but they'd done none of that and kept insisting we do a carpet cleaning on move out. In a nutshell a big NO renting this apartment unless the management has changed. You can rent if you are okay handling the disgusting rude management but I am glad i didn't continue and have gotten some peace of mind.

Perfect apartment to live with competitive rent!I’ve been living here for a year and I love this apartment so much!

Everything is maintained so well. Staffs are friendly and helpful, also quick response! Large parking lot, large swimming pool area and hot tub make me feel so comfortable!

Walking distance to Belmont Caltrain station and Belmont downtown is a big plus!

Recommend you choose here!

The property is nice and the price is ok but the staff completely ruins this potentially great place to live. Avoid at all costs.

I am absolutely appalled at how these people stay in business. Ed and Scott both actively go out of their way to piss off their residents. The property managers are supposed to be there to make sure all residents are enjoying their living experience. This is the exact opposite case with Ed in particular. On more than a few occasions Ed has decided to make up his own "community rules" (which I had to point out were not listed in the very detailed community rules page they give you when you move in) just so he could try to tow my car or simply yell at me. He is clearly on the power trip of his life and shows no signs of stopping.

One if the most magical places I have ever lived - a true neighborhood where people take strolls all the time and neighbors are wonderful and welcoming! Old County Road Apartments is like an Oasis among the busy life!

Great community close to Caltrain with spacious units. Atrocious and petty management with inflexible lease terms that will make you super look forward to when your lease ends and you can leave and never go back.

I also want to note, I feel that many google reviews are falsely inflating this apartments attractiveness.

My second year here and I have had no complaints, no regrets so far. This is really good place to live with a nice management. We had some issues and they solved them all in a professional and courteous manner. Many thanks.

Very greedy management and noisy neighborhood.

After one year of residency, the management increased rent without even consulting with me.

The apartment complex is extremely noisy. The windows are single pane. - Right to the north, there is a problem apartment complex where there are young people playing loud music late into the night, throwing drunk parties, and a couple fighting and yelling in Russian almost every weekend.
- To the west, there is Belmont Caltrain station. Trains blow their horns as early as 5am and do so all day long. What is worse is the all the auto repair shops. They work weekends and cut metal with a screeching noise.
- To the east, there is 101 and a primary school that causes not only noise but traffic gridlock except for summer.
- To the south, there is Ralston ave and 101 ramps with very heavy traffic.
