Val helped us sell our house in Emerald Hills. She is personable and really easy to work with, and helped us understand the best approach to maximize sale price. Very knowledgeable about the local real estate market, she helped us find the right target date for listing our house. She helped us invest in the most effective update projects, to raise the value of the house without wasting money that wouldn't provide a return. We had already moved out of the area, and Val's assistant, Sharon, was invaluable in helping us get work done on the house. When a bizarre emergency plumbing problem occurred, Sharon responded immediately and got someone out to fix it that afternoon before the house was damaged. One of the keys to getting a good price is getting people in the door at open houses and Val was great at that. Her marketing materials were gorgeous and included everything from the usual website and brochure to aerial drone photos. After we received a couple of offers Val helped us evaluate the offers and decide which one to accept. Her knowledge of the market, financing, contingencies, etc. was very helpful. All in all, the sale went smoothly and we're quite satisfied--I would highly recommend Val.

We worked with Lorenzo from Veritas Homes after a friend of ours recommended them. Lorenzo was very effective and we closed on a home in just two months of searching! My fiance and I started looking for homes at the beginning of the year and we started working with Lorenzo at the end of January after some not-so-great experience with Redfin agents. Lorenzo was very responsive, he was honest about the homes we saw and really had our best interest in mind. He talked us out of a few homes and did a great job reminding us of what we valued in a home to keep us grounded. Lorenzo was careful to never over-promise on anything and delivered in an efficient time. Whenever we put a request to view a home, we'd view the home and debrief in just 3 days of the initial request. He has prior experience as a home appraiser and that came in real handy when we were making offers and considering cost for repairs. He was communicative with our lenders, never pushed lenders on us (I've had previous agents do this and it's not the greatest) and did a great job closing for us. We also went with a few contractors that he recommended and they delivered as expected. Veritas Homes also showered us with congratulatory gifts which includes personalized home decor. It's not necessary but it's a very nice touch to their business. Highly recommend them!
