Wow! I am writing this as someone who did not end up leasing an apartment with Discovery Investments, but who was SO impressed with them throughout the process that I just had to write a review to sing their praises. Throughout the process they were honest, direct, and responsive - none of which I take for granted. They were trying to come up with creative solutions for an EV charger in an aptmt building that did not yet have this infrastructure - and they were terrific at explaining the progress, and in clearly explaining when they were expecting to get estimates and what buy-in they still would need from the owner to drive to resolution. I put a deposit hold on the unit, and when the outside electricians were delayed in getting Discovery their estimates, they pro-actively extended my deposit hold period. Bottom line: in the end the electricians took so long that I had to jump on another apartment - but in the future if I see any property represented by Discovery Investments that will be a very positive sign for me to apply to that apartment. Thank you Kevin, Marty, Kelsey, and the entire staff for all your support throughout this process, and looking forward to re-connecting at my future move.

I have been a tenant for 14 months in one of their at least 50 properties. The owners act like they are property managers so they avoid any responsibility for building maintenance. They have accused me of plugging the bathtub drain after I lived there 3 months. At least I was able to convince the owner that I have really short hair and use a net on the bathtub drain to catch hair, no way in 3 months could I clog the drain. Then the latest accusation is that I broke the garbage disposal. I told them I don’t ever use the garage disposal but even if I did the lifespan of a garbage disposal is approximately 10 years. I have occupied the unit for 14 months. Then they tampered with my resident portal to make the payment $2640 rather than what I set $ 2255 (per rental agreement). I did not authorize the additional payment. That constitutes grand larceny. I will be contacting the City rental program.

We had a 5-star experience with Discovery Investments from start to finish. All of the team members were responsive to us throughout the different phases our our 4-year rental term. We never had any issues when completing our application, renewing our lease, negotiating the terms of our new leases, quickly responding to repairs and concerns, answering questions prior to moveout, and giving us a fair return on our security deposit. I highly recommend working with Discovery Investments.

I’ve lived in my apartment for 2 years now and love it. I have been in 2 units (moved to a bigger one) and both were clean and in great condition. For the most part, it feels like I am in my own home and not an apartment complex. Anytime I needed anything the staff have been responsive, maintenance staff were always kind and fixed issues in a reasonable time. Reading other reviews I wonder if I got lucky with whoever owns the building (my previous apartment had the most unresponsive/stingy landlord, the property manager could never get approval to fix anything - different company). I’m most impressed with how they’ve handled COVID. Our shared laundry facility have been frequently sanitized. I’ve had issues getting quarters for the machines but someone has always brought me change. They even inquired if I needed any assistance in getting necessities. Compared to some of the other apartments I have visited, this place feels secure, safe and like a home.

I love my apartment and have been renting with Discovery Investments since 2005 - I moved in 2010 from one of their studios to a 1 bedroom in the same building. They are the best landlords I've ever had. I appreciate their responsiveness and care. I never thought I would be living here for as long as I have had but they have made being a renter easy for me to stay. I feel so fortunate to have some amazing neighbors in the building as well.

We rented through Discovery Investments for 4 years. They are a great team that's highly responsive, and have technology tools that make it easy for tenants to autopay rent, request maintenance, etc that makes everything very convenient. Best renting experience we've had!
