Matt did an excellent job at every point along the way. He had the perfect approach and knowledge to maximize the sale of the house. He helped navigate a very unpredictable market and we ended up with several qualified offers and an excellent buyer (not to mention an official signed backup offer).
Additionally, Matt went well above and beyond what a realtor might assume is their duty and really helped us out with several things we could not take care of ourselves since we were remote during this time. If I could give them zero stars I would. First of all Diane Talfour is a dishonest woman using dishonest tactics for slumlords. My house was falling apart and the landlords never hired professionals to fix it. When I moved out because I was literally ill from mold and contaminated water after I let them know I was already moved out they sent an eviction notice knowing full well that I had already vacated the premises. They illegally charged me for almost 40 percent of the PGE even though there were over ten people living next door and I was one person living in the sub metered house next door. The septic is so old it’s made of wood. And the landlord showed up at my house through our many years with zero notice. The last time he was on the roof hammering nails in the roof and no one said a thing to me at all. They also retaliated by driving up and down my driveway before I moved out as well. Very unprofessional. They look down their nose at people who are not upper class and pretend not to be racist but clearly are. Terrible company. Warning do not go through this company. Pics below are from water damage due to landlord doing repairs himself and water leaking into the walls and leaking from the toilet. Mold is also from these leaks all over the house. South county did nothing but instead defended them and after I left served me with an eviction notice even though they know I was sick from the house being uninhabitable

South County Realty was perfect, start to finish! We recently sold acreage with a house in Gilroy. When deciding which real estate company to use we turned to South County Realty because we knew they were a family owned business that had been in the south valley area for a long time. Our property had been in our family for a long time as well and it mattered to us that the people marketing and selling it understood family ties. We definitely chose the right company for this emotional and at times tricky job. Matt Telfer and Danielle Halla bent over backwards to help us through a very complicated and sensitive transaction. They helped us in ways well beyond what would normally be expected and we constantly said that we could not have done this without them. They kept us informed every step of the way helping us understand laws and contracts and were the reason that our end result was perfect. South County Realty is a class act company and we recommend it to everyone.
