I really wish there was a way to leave NO stars at all. My husband and I came across this beautiful rental property online so we scheduled a viewing. We fell in love with the house so we wanted to put in an application. I did call and make them aware of a few minor changes that needed to be done and they said they would look into them. We really didn't want to miss this property so we went ahead and put in an application. The first red flag was a $60 application fee for EACH person so I just put in one and my husband said he'd just do one later. I received email confirmation after my application was completed. The next day I tried to call to follow-up but got their voicemail so I left a message. Since it was Memorial day weekend I waited til the next business day to try to speak to someone. I got the same voicemail so i left another message. I let a week go by before I tried again and STILL wasn't able to reach a live person and of course the website is completely automated so no help there. After about 3 weeks of not getting any response I went to check the reviews and they were horrible! I really wished I had done that first because I felt like they just took my money with no intention of following up with me. I filed a dispute with my bank and temporarily got my money back. Fast forward to a few days ago and my bank says they are taking the credit back because they contacted them and the fraudsters actually told my bank that the charge was legit so I pretty much paid a fee for something I was NEVER gonna get and this company didn't even have the decency to communicate with me. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY! RUN!!!

I’ve read these reviews and most seem like first time renters that don’t understand that just bc you pay an application fee doesn’t mean you get approved for a house and I’ve never seen a company that allows a couple to use 1 application if both are to be on the lease. So anyway, I’ve rented from a few companies with very bad reviews, like seriously bad reviews not just people mad they didn’t get what they want, and so far Keystone has been really cool. Giving 4 stars because it’s only been a couple months and 2 maintenance requests or melds as they call them and 1 still pending. The 1 still pending I’m getting a little frustrated with but not enough to have a meltdown online…….yet ? they are better than Sylvan Homes I’ll tell you that much. And Darwin.

My fiancé and I went to view a property managed by these people and absolutely loved the house. However, once we got inside to view it there was a barely working leaky refrigerator and all though there were air vents for central heating in air they had heaters that seemed unsafe rigged up coming up from the vents and only window A/C units throughout the house.

We contacted Keystone about our concerns and were pretty much blown off and told the heaters wouldn’t be there if they didn’t work properly. Like I said we really liked the home so we decided to look over the rude lady on the phone and do an application anyway. Once we paid to do the app but were then informed that we had to complete separate apps and pay twice.

We haven’t heard anything back from this company after they took our money.. not a phone call, text or email.. NOTHING! We began trying to contact them before Labor Day and it’s been two weeks without a word from anyone. The application process is very intrusive and asks you to link to your bank account, take pictures of your license plate, pics of your car, I.D. and even a selfy. The whole thing just seems like they’re harvesting info to try and scam people.

Also any time you call the office it says they’re closed but the website says they’re open for business. We’re disputing the charge for the application fee and we’re going to stay clear of this company. They’re very unprofessional, seem suspect and not worth your time or money. In addition every single review I’ve seen regarding this company has been extremely negative. STAY FAR AWAY!

Keystone is a rip off. They are abusing non refundable applications fees. I am a property manager and I know for a fact it does not take a month to process rental applications. I process applications in a few days a week tops and thats with verifyng references, rental history,
and employment. They are taking dozens of applications on one unit and gives the run around when applicant wants an update. I will be filing a complain with BBB.

I was in a house rental for 9 years never had any problems with maintenance being done once the landlord switched over to Keystone they gave two fcks about anything being fixed as long as they got their rent money. When move out time came they didn't allow me to be present on the walk through and accused me of damages when I asked what was damaged in the house they never gave me a response and took $250 dollars out of my security deposit. Stay away from Keystone Broker....

I applied for a home close to a week ago and haven’t heard anything back. I am on a tight deadline to move. I tried reaching out with no luck. Coming from a person that works in property management, this is very disheartening. I hate that I didn’t read the reviews before applying.

STAY CLEAR of this company!
I live in orlando Fl. The names of the people who you may interact with is. One extremely shady individual Named Desmond. He takes the money from the company and acts like he puts it towards things that need to be done for the property. Very rude/dishonest individual. Also Paige Boggess. She is the one who issues the contracts. Thom greene is one of the so called owners. They go by a different business name also besides keystone. It's Green Flower 22A.
I rented a home from this company and these individuals. The worst experience of my life. When I initially moved in the home, they claim they had people clean the house at dead roaches in it, and was disgustingly dirty. I had to pay to have a cleaning company come in AFTER my move-in date because the place was too dirty for me and my four year old to live in it. They promised they would reimburse me if I had it cleaned as I showed Paige the pictures and videos. I paid for it to get cleaned and was never reimbursed. There was also holes in the ceiling, broken fence, termites were found in the baseboard, as well as mold, and they only hired someone to come and remove the baseboard and paint over the mold, as if that rectify the problem for the termite and the mold, and none of the appliances worked at the time I moved in. There was continuous a leaks and they have a relationship with a vendor who is also unprofessional. DEX A/C company. He installed the AC which never worked properly and leaked all over my furniture. I took them to court after they wouldn't pay what they said they were going to pay regarding the cleaning. They also tried to increase the rent $100 a month and would not reimburse me for my security deposit. So the Judge order them to reimburse me for that. Then we had to go back before the magistrate because even after the court order they still didn't pay. They are a fraudulent company. I wish I would've read the reviews that are out there on this company before I rented from them. I have never had to write a review about someone I rented for ever in my life. This is the first time these people are crooks. Please be aware.

My experience with this particular realtor company. Don’t even waste your time and energy. I felt as if they wasn’t doing their job the I’ve experienced with other realtors. Giving me the run around, lies and misinformation. Took my money and after dealing with these realtors I felt as if it was in a way racial discrimination. If I could I’d give NO STARS. This is my personal opinion.

To the response. I know that I have to pay security deposit but was given a few hours to pay. Given cold shoulder when asked a few questions regarding the situation. Times are hard and people can be cruel.
