This management company has done great for me from the moment I looked into needing a place for rent. Since I had to move in a short window I was worried about how that would go. This company (Jeff) especially has been very accommodating. The owner Joan is a very sweet woman and has many years of property management under her belt. Since moving in I had my water heater go out and this company reacted quickly and made me feel important. Highly recommended property management company for the Menomonie area!

I'm going to start off by saying I'm not writing the review to bash this company wrongly but I want to be honest. I lived in the apartments they have on 15th ave.
First off when I moving in the apartment wasn't cleaned. We kept checking back after we were supposed to move in as we thought maybe they were finishing up but after talking with Jeff it was supposed to be clean and they weren't going to clean it, so we did because we already wasted a few days to move in...
Then we had the issues of maintenance that they literally came in and said "Just deal with it" and they never fixed anything.
We had mice everywhere in our apartment and after asking for months to fix the holes they were coming through and contacting the health department they finally came and put spray foam in the holes, which the mice chewed right though anyways. Since the windows are horrible bugs were everywhere in the apartment as well.
We had an issue of domestic violence in one of the other apartments because they never background check anyone.
The last straw was when we were moving out one of their employees that they hired and gave a universal key came into our apartment before we officially moved out and stole valuables from our apartment. After calling the owners they never showed up or helped at all in trying to get the valuables back.
Then they took out half of our security deposit.... It was a horrible experience as a whole....

Have been living here since January 2018. Management is very understanding and accommodating. Their employees are positive, personable people which is great to be able to get to know the team on a daily basis. They plow the parking lots in a timely fashion, and respond to maintenance requests quickly. These are good, affordable places to live - especially for people with dogs and college students.

I gave them 1 star cause I couldn’t give them less than that.
1st - they were super rude on the phone until they knew I had an appointment. Then they acted super fake nice.
2nd - they flat out broke the law. There’s a law called the fair housing act that lets people with support animals have their animals regardless of pet policies. I have a emotional support animal, and she is a lovely cat. They told me they don’t do cats and they don’t care about the fair housing act. They wouldn’t even show me any apartments.

If you’re looking for a place to live don’t bother with these people.

Only 5 stars because I cant go higher. Been a tenant for 7.5 years, problems always fixed in a timely manner. Everyone is friendly and courteous, and have done more to help out than other rental companies usually do.

I put 1 star because it would not let me put less. This is a worthless company nothing about problems with the carpet had it cleaned multiple times during the spring because of mold and mold smell. Now of course the carpet was older than old and the day she moved it the apartment was filthy, the walls were dirty and not painted the bathroom had not been clean just to name a few. When she moved out they had the nerve to say the carpet smelled. When I called to talk to them Jeff started to yell at me and I hung up because I refuse to be yelled at. Them I get a text saying they refuse to talk to me because I don't know how to act like an adult!!!!!!! DONT RENT FROM HERE EVEN IF DESPERATE

They gave NO LEGAL NOTICE WHATSOEVER, and they send guys from their office to my place and they don't bother to knock or wait for someone to answer, they just unlocked the door and walked in. Little to their knowledge I've experienced this before with renters in the area so I have everything on camera. Debating if I should take them to claims court for invasion of privacy. This company is garbage. Don't anticipate living through them again. Renters still have privacy rights and clearly they don't understand that.
