Slow response time. Unprofessional when answering calls. Takes to long to hear anything from them. Rude when they finally do answer. Do not recommend you rent from these folks. Do not do business with them.

I reached out to this property management to inquire about one of their properties.
The place that I currently live at was built with ZERO permits and this is why I need to move. The county is involved and wants the property vacated. The property is very nice other than it is like an oven in the summer with 2 air conditioners going 24/7. Not sure what that is about exactly.........
In an attempt to be upfront and honest, I told Abbotsford Properties of this so that they were aware and I was unsure what the owner of the property would tell them when they inquired about my rental history. As you can imagine, there is animosity between the owner and I because she is basically a SLUM LORD. I mean who rents a property that was built and no permits were pulled?
Abbotsford Properties called to inquire about my rental history and not only told my current SLUM LORD what I told them, even though I provided proof from the County, but went so far as to ask my current SLUM LORD if she thought that I turned her into the county. I cant be positive(but i intend to find out) but I'm pretty sure this is illegal and at the very least VERY bad business and unethical.
Just like an Employer calling to verify employment, you as a Property Management are limited to what you can ask.
I think it speaks volumes that they are worried about who turned her in for not pulling permits. What are they doing that they are worried about?

Our first apt rental was from Abbotsford Prop. The service was great the staff are like family, and they remember you after 10 years! Lol Thanks Amy. Called them back after 10 years for a rental my first duplex was available what a coincidence! Crazy but I appreciate them! The maintenance from them are awesome as well.

This management company is atrocious. As a tenant you get treated appallingly! When you have any problems they tell you there is nothing they can do since they are not on site, and if they do send someone out they charge you for any repairs that need to be made. The woman Linda who works at the office on Fulton has no people skills and is very unhelpful. I would recommend to anyone interested in renting from them to NOT do it. You can find better management companies.
