Our stay at the West Elm House:Seven-Eighty was wonderful! It had all the amenities we needed for our girl’s weekend. The house was clean and just lovely. Location was very walkable to a lot of things, and we enjoyed just walking through the lovely neighborhood, as well. There is still some construction noise next door, but it was only during the daytime hours, and wasn’t disruptive to us. Could be an issue if you’re not early risers, though, as they seemed to start pretty early in the morning. Customer service from Acme House was great. They responded quickly to any questions I had. Check in and check out were a breeze.

Our stay at The Trousdale was amazing! Every attention to detail made our experience over the top. A beautiful well accentuated home with an amazing pool and spa. We took advantage of the heated pool option and were very happy we did. A very quiet and serene neighborhood close to conveniences. We can’t say enough about the Acme experience and look forward to coming back.

The Nest was the perfect solution for our winter getaway. We love the neighborhood and its proximity to downtown. We greeted neighbors in the mornings during our walks and admired the gorgeous landscaping of the houses.
The backyard is a private oasis and the pool is a welcomed respite from the day’s activities. The fire-pit area is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and gaze at the stars. We wish we had booked more days and it was hard to go home! We will 100% be back the next time we need to escape the cold winters of Minnesota.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Shaken, Not Stirred home in Palm Springs over Thanksgiving week. The house exceeded our expectations, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment with all the amenities we needed—and more. The pool and jacuzzi were a relaxing amenity and the property was clean, efficient, and well-stocked with supplies. We had everything necessary to prepare and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving holiday and dinner.

The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet, making for a restful retreat. The service and attention from ACME House Company were exceptional; their responsiveness added to our positive experience. Even our dog enjoyed the stay, as the home provided thoughtful touches like dog bowls, though we brought our own supplies. It was reassuring to know such conveniences were available if needed.

Areas for Improvement —

There were a couple of minor concerns. The television in the master bedroom was outdated and unreliable, often freezing after a few minutes of use. A replacement would greatly enhance the guest experience. Additionally, we were informed that playing music in the backyard is strictly prohibited, even at low volumes, due to local regulations. While we understand the need to respect the neighborhood’s peace, the inability to play soft background music detracted slightly from the atmosphere, especially while relaxing in the jacuzzi. The policy, coupled with the threat of eviction for playing music, felt overly restrictive and left the backyard feeling a bit sterile despite its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Highlights —

One of the standout features of the property was the beautiful backyard, complete with fruit trees—lemon, orange, and grapefruit—that added a touch of charm and tranquility to the outdoor space. It was a joy to take in the scenic beauty while enjoying the amenities provided.

Final Thoughts —

Overall, our stay at the Shaken, Not Stirred home was fantastic. The property was well-appointed, quiet, and ideal for a Thanksgiving getaway. We would definitely book through ACME House Company again in the future. Despite the small drawbacks, we left with fond memories and a strong desire to return.

We rented the Paradise Splash at Little Tuscany in Palm Springs during Nov 9-14, 2024. The house was fantastic for our group of 8 (4 couples). Everyone who we were in contact with at ACME House Company were extremely friendly and responsive. We hope to be back one day.

- the location was great -Good quality grocer and many other services within a very short walk.
- Thought the home layout was great and it looks great.
- Furnishings + equipment were quite good and operational.

What a gracious house to host Thanksgiving for our merging of families for an engagement! The house is incredibly well appointed (kitchen, bath, etc.!) even with a full spice drawer and loads of coffee and creamer. We had Thanksgiving dinner by pushing the two outdoor tables (seating 6 ea) under the canopy, huge amount of space inside for serving and large kitchen. Soooo many pots and pans.,.. The inside and outside pool, all the bedrooms - did I mention all of the chargers in each room and next to every bed? Everything was simply perfect. Acme’s communication was beyond excellent. We will be booking again for the wedding next year!

We had an amazing time at Desert Bloom! We arrived to a thoughtful welcome basket left by Dan and Jim with wine and other yummy treats. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The house was beautifully decorated and clean and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and so relaxing and my son enjoyed picking lemons from the trees to make lemonade. The house is minutes away from everything in a cute quiet neighborhood. We had perfect weather and an amazing time!
