Absolutely love living here for the last year. I have very nice neighbors as well as management and maintenance are good too. Very spacious apartment. Clean building.

Well this is a second review placed in a week's time due to people pulling down negative reviews because people don't want the truth getting out.
So here it goes. To start they are denying my mother in home care. Second they say she needs to find someone else although there is no one else to provide in home care for here because it doesn't meet their "community standards". Third, while fighting with this place about it one of the things they quote from an email sent from their personal phone while on vacation is I quote "they would lose money"
Fourth, they have stated today that my mother will be fined recurring charges if she doesn't conform to their wants. Fifth, this is supposed to be a low income building. Now explain to me how a woman on social security getting barely 1000 bucks a month is dishing out 48.8% of her income to this place is low income. She qualifies for the 30% bracket which would take rent from the almost 500 a month she's paying now to 300.
Sixth, anything that happens in this build is told to people who have nothing to do with anything besides to spread rumors and lies fuled by the management telling these people so they can spread rumors and lies and to be in other people's business.
Seventh, the place was put up so quickly and crappy that visible cracks are showing in the joints of rooms and the common areas.
Now this sounds more like an HOA to me. Not only that confidential information is being told to people who have no need of knowing unless the person it's about tells these people themselves.
The last thing here like I said this is the second review I've posted because the first one was removed. When I first wrote my review alice place had a 3.4 star rating. Now in the past week all the negative reviews have been removed and only the ones that are 5 star remains.
Alice place just wants to fule negative people and take the elderlies money.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Alice Place Monroe! The apartments are beautiful, the staff more than helpful & quick to fix any issues that might be discovered living in a new apartment, and offers many amenities.
