I hope whoever read the reviews would pay close attention as to how Patty puts up lies here: even in such a short reply, she's unable to refrain from deflecting, lying, and insinuating. I sincerely hope such business and PR strategies would work well for the business you run.

Please note, I didn't "HAVE to go out of state to get a rental", she put it as if "I was unable to qualify for any rentals in California". To be crystal clear, I have been financially (both income and credit wise) sound the entire time, both now AND back then when I first contacted Patty. Just because Patty lacks the necessary knowledge about the types of income and how one can provide proof for them, doesn't mean that those income types are not valid. Also mind you, Patty, I chose to move out of state because there are very few properties owners left over there who would actually do business with integrity, instead there are so many property owners like you who would disregard basic professionalism and even laws, to discriminate against potential tenants.

I contacted Patty regarding a rental listing on Craigslist and let me tell you guys please don't ignore the bad reviews here. I read through them at first before I contacted and gave them the benefit of doubt because the owner's responses sorta made sense, but I was obviously wrong. The professionalism and communication were really not that great.

I asked whether I was able to come and view the property first before renting/applying. She said no we don't show properties, just go straight to application and send over your paycheck stub along with it. I said I have a question about the income as well, that I departed my full time job last Aug because I have income from other sources (I explained where the money was from during the call but just don't want to write it out here in public, but basically they are 1099 incomes in lump sums) and I can show you the proof via bank statements and I have no debt and have excellent credit. Boy, you know what Patty said? "No the money could be gone tomorrow." and something like "Drug money could be that way too." And even after I said there are ways to ask the bank to secure the funds or prove the funds that won't be gone for the next X number of months and able to cover the expenses, Patty still said no. Well, I guess all 1099 incomes, inheritance, settlements, investment income, etc., without a regular "paycheck stub" can be gone or drug money with your logic? What if I quit my job tomorrow though even if I have the perfect "paycheck stub"?

In contrast, I recently contacted a property management company in another state and provided them with the same information for a property within the same price range, all they asked was the legit proper proof of funds to cover the expenses when not having a paycheck stub.

Unprofessional language and a general lack of care and commitment to both staff and as a client myself. I was completely appalled when I came into All American to see about selling my property, and that is when I first noticed an assistant with a small dog. I had come to find out in the next few moments that the woman in charge; Patty, had been using her employees for tasks that had no purpose or relation to the actual business that she was running. It is I’m my own opinion that she has no problem abusing her staff, albeit not physically, but by taking away from the potential that her employees possess. I never gave her that listing, and I don’t think I’ll have her sell anything else of mine in the future either.

The owner was very rude. I do not recommend. There are better companies with more polite agents. Seek your house buying/rental services from ANYONE but her.
