I spoke with Amanda on the phone twice over the last couple weeks about an apartment that I was interested in and mentioned that I do have a dog. They encourage you to apply for the apartment and pay the application fee. I did that and then was sent a link to make a pet profile with a third party company called petscreening.com. This is something All County Cowboy requires. It is $30/mo for the subscription pet profile. I thought this wasn't too bad so I signed up. It wasn't until after I made a profile and paid the $30 that I was notified by petscreening.com that there is a non refundable pet deposit of $400. This to me is absurd. It was never mentioned until after I paid for all the other fees. This is completely unprofessional and this company is not transparent about this additional non refundable cost. Therefore, I am no longer interested in this apartment or working with this management company. I spoke with Amber on the phone today and she stated that I would have to call petscreening.com to see if they would be able to refund the $30. I also asked her to cancel my application since there is only 1 apartment that would work for my needs and refund the application fee since the pet deposit was not made transparent from the beginning. She could not help me there either of course. Just be aware of these extra costs. Oh and they also charge and extra $35 for some kind of benefits package that also is not mentioned or explained before you apply.

Absolutely DO NOT RENT PROPERTY FROM THIS COMPANY.
We called ahead before paying any fees. They said no one was interested in property and to apply now. After an hour of applying and paying fees, the property was off the market. I got some generic email stating it’s already been rented out. READ email below. It states my application was accepted within 24 hours because I’ve already applied for this property that is now rented. Completely FALSE /statement. Took me for the application fee and some pet screening. I will be reporting them.

My experience with All County Cowboy Property Management has been great so far. They have made paying rent easier than ever. I was able to sign all my documents, complete all applications, and make my deposits in a matter of minutes. They were very helpful with changing our inspection date and getting a hold of a serviceman when needed. All in all, I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a property in the Laramie area.

Tom Haas and the team at All County Cowboy Management in Laramie treat the property owner with kid gloves, always responding quickly to inquiries and ensuring that the property is kept in great condition, enabling a smooth transfer of occupancy. They provide careful inspections before the tenant’s move out date and will catch the smallest detail of concern so it can be fixed.

Management team is very kind and someone is always readily available to answer the call. Most of my calls were answered on the first try. And the property was very clean and in good shape, with no pests. Their rates are OK~, but not a bargain. But I was happy with my 6 month lease.

Tip:
If the heater is on when you move in, DO NOT turn it off and ask the management team first, before you change temperature (even in the summer).

They're not a bad company for rentals but they do charge upwards of $30 for a "Resident's Benefit Package" which is annoying considering the lack of benefits it seems to offer. We've also only filled out one maintenance request but it took quite awhile for someone to respond, not sure if that has gotten better. Overall we like the property though and they are pretty easy to work with.

All County was very easy to work with as a homeowner. I no longer lived in Laramie, but they were able to help me rent my property within two weeks of contacting them. They always did answer my questions within a timely manner, but I am giving them 4-stars because I always had to a leave a voicemail any time a question did arise. This maybe a personal preference, but I would prefer if I could talk to someone if I was calling during normal business hours. Otherwise, they were all very kind and generous people and I would recommend them if you are planning on renting within the area.
