We have been in this house for just over 3 weeks. There were some immediate issues that needed taken care of. I didn't even call the right number for maintenance but they got it all set up for me, instantly. 2 days wait, which I felt was fair enough. it was for the air conditioner. The person that showed up was the nicest person! Took care of the A/C and multiple smaller items that really wasn't a concern to me at the time. I have dealt with the office Irving a few times and everyone I have dealt with is fantastic!!
So far....I am VERY impressed!!

Oh...house is great too!

It was really easy to rent my house, everything was done online which I wasn’t used to but it worked out really well, now I’m editing my post three years later and it’s still a fairly good company but their maintenance companies they use are 100% illegals that will jerry rig your house if you have anything wrong and call a maintenance request, and I’m being for real, when they get to your house they won’t be able to speak one word of English, so don’t bother asking them anything. Or fix what they are messing up, because they won’t understand you!! Like I said I have been in the same house now for three years and they have been raising my rent a 100 dollars every year! For the 4th year what do I get in return? Instead of an insensitive to stay I get a letter in the mail that instead of 100 this year it’s 300!!! I guess they figure I don’t want to move so I’ll go ahead and pay that insane leap in rent!! Which they are somewhat right! But it’s only because I haven’t found the house I want to rent

American homes for rent helped us with residence for 5yrs. I never had a problem with anything. Even when i had to make a work request they were very responsive even though you had to wait for them to accept a bid but thats part of the process. I made several work request from microwave,to even a new Air-condition, which did not have to pay for it. Thank you AH4R

Do not waste your time with this company. If i could give a -5 star review, I would. They never answer the phone. They come up for the stupidest excuses for why paperwork doesn't count or why they need more paperwork. They don't know what they are doing. I never got a chance to rent from them because they basically refused to give us any attention other than a grammatically incorrect email here and there informing me that they don't have the right paperwork even when I sent exactly what they asked for. Stay away. Lesson learned. Thank goodness I never went further into the leasing process with them. Wish I didn't have to give them any stars at all.

We've been renting from them for 7 months now and have had no issues. Love the house we are in, and the rental process was extremely easy and pain-free. It is a bit difficult to get the maintenance completed, but if you follow up, it gets done.

Been renting from AH4R for 2 years now. Never had a problem. When the dishwasher broke, they REPLACED it with a brand-new one. When the furnace died last winter, they sent a repairman out in the middle of the night to fix it. No extra charges. I'd take the negative complaints with a grain of salt. 2 sides to every story is a good credo to live by.

We definitely should have heeded the warning from others, who said to avoid.
We were previously with Progress Residential, and the communication was awesome! Quality of housing, not the best, which is why we decided not to renew and went with AH4R.
We rented a brand new home, wood flooring beautiful finishings, etc.
We inquired about our (now) home and were bombarded with calls and emails, all day every day. Once our application was approved, we were then bombarded with emails, calls, and voicemails, pressuring us to sign the lease.
Once we did, ALL communication stopped and we weren't able to get ahold of anyone. Those same people calling us repeatedly beforehand didn't even return our calls.

Now, onto the house itself. Good looking house aesthetically, but with a whole bunch of issues. The first night there, the central air stopped working. It was literally 90 degrees inside! It took forever for us to reach anyone and when we did, they took their sweet time sending someone out.
Then, once that was fixed, the heating stopped working!! Great!
Same.scenario in getting that fixed....now, we have water leaking in our basement.

Essentially, the quality of the house is extremely poor and if say, worse than Progress. But at least Progress communicates and quickly.
I'f I were you, AVOID this leasing company!!!!!

Go up
