It has been an incredible experience for my wife and I to live at the Aperture apartments. Personally, no residential building has ever paid such meticulous attention to each resident's wants and hospitality.

Melanie the business manager is extremely helpful, my move in was easy and seamless because of her. She has been diligent and super delightful to connect with during my time here.

Carlos the maintenance supervisor always go above and beyond whenever I submit a maintenance ticket in the portal and making sure they are handled quickly. I am blown away by his work ethics.

Also, shout-out to Miguel for always being enthusiastic and planning some of the best community gathering events!

Both Carlos and Melanie are fantastic, making Aperture feel completely welcome and huge reason on why I decided to move forward with the lease! They both are responsive, friendly, and professional at addressing all questions/needs in a timely manner. Appreciate all that Aperture does and provides to make me truly feel at home!

Lived here for a year. Absolutely wonderful place not a single negative comes to mind. Melanie at the office is amazing and very nice to talk to and super helpful. She always fixes the issues we have.
Only thing that can be improved is the rents can be lower.

I lived in Aperture from 2020-2024 and living there was great but moving out is a fcking nightmare and the quality of management has went to shit because of over reliance on these start up ventures like Bilt and Roost.

The good:
-Maintenance requests - fixed quickly best guys
-Miguel - always responded, very nice
-Espresso & FloWater machines
-Quarterly community events - BBQs, giveaways

The bad:
-They make you sign up for BILT just to do electronic payments which is super annoying to have to sign up for a credit card just to pay rent electronically.
-They make you sign up for the worst site I've ever used Roost to get your security deposit back.
-Since Melanie took over, super nice and friendly but her lack of responding to anything I ask from her until I literally walk to her office and she gives a fake laugh like oopsie daisy I forgot to respond enrages me.

Moved out on November 5 and apparently the full months rent was taken out of my account by BILT instead of the prorated 5 days. Honestly kind of annoying but ok, so I reached out to Melanie and said hey got charged the full month rent and was informed that I'd need to make the payment to BILT and they'll send me a check back ASAP. Ok so move out happens then radio silence so I e-mailed Melanie about the ETA on my refund on November 13... no response great except now I can't just walk over to her office since I don't live there anymore... Fast forward to November 20 I finally get a notification from Roost giving me a breakdown of my Refund + Security Deposit - prorated amounts and utilities whatnot. I go on the site and it doesn't allow me to update my forwarding address like literally typing it into the form and it does NOTHING after clicking submit. Also, super annoying since I gave Melanie my forwarding address for this exact reason and tell me why the address was still the damn apartment. Then I e-mail Melanie again but there's no response per usual and so I'm like ok I'll just open a support ticket with Roost and today they respond (Nov 25) that they sent the check to the address (yes the apartment I moved out of) on Nov 20. I'm like are you jokinnngggggg?

Honestly, this was my favorite apartment to live in but the move out process that has dragged out for almost 3 weeks now (still ongoing) now prompted this review otherwise I would have kept my grievances to myself.

I recently had the pleasure of living at Aperture Apartments in San Bruno, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I moved in, I was impressed with the great amenities they offer. The fitness center, game center and communal spaces were always clean and well-maintained, making it a joy to use them.

The apartments themselves are top-notch, with modern finishes and spacious layouts. It truly felt like a home. What sets Aperture Apartments apart, though, is their outstanding service. Melanie, one of the office employees, was always incredibly helpful and accommodating. Her warm and friendly demeanor made any interaction a positive experience.

Oscar, the maintenance manager, also deserves special recognition. Whenever there was a maintenance request, he responded promptly and efficiently. His dedication to ensuring everything was in great working order was evident, and it made a significant difference in our overall satisfaction with the community.

In summary, Aperture Apartments offers a fantastic living experience in San Bruno. Great amenities, beautifully designed apartments, and a team that goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to call home.

I have been living in Aperture for a couple months now and I want to give credit where credit is due. Living here has been extremely enjoyable due to the active and kind management team. I've mainly worked with Melanie and she has been an absolute joy to work with. She's always been responsive, warm, and proactive in helping us when we need it. I'm incredibly grateful for her outstanding service and the positive impact she has in our apartment.

As someone who has disabilities, finding a new apartment that meets my needs can be incredibly hard and time consuming. A lot of property managers don’t understand, or care, and it can be a demoralizing process. But out of the fifteen buildings I toured recently, my experience with Melanie really stood out in a positive way. She was friendly, responsive, curious, caring, and reasonable, and that made a big difference in my day and week. She took the time to get to know me and my needs and was genuinely personable with a joie vivre I have rarely seen in the world of real estate, which so often ends up burning out under resourced leasing agents at the hands of transactional corporate overlords. Even when the unit I applied to had an issue and didn’t work out, she was committed to resolving it for whoever did apply to the unit next - which gives me a lot of hope for the people who do live there. I hope North Coast knows how lucky they are to have someone so committed to caring for their community.

Great, convenient location. Nice building and units and they really put effort into making it feel like a community. Office staff are helpful, especially Melanie who is professional, engaging, always willing to listen, and will do everything she can to help resolve problems.
