Unscrupulous sales agent by the name of Luke French, who was working at Apex Realty in Tappahannock, Va. We were from out of town and buying a house in Montross, Va. and chose Luke French as our real estate agent. Big mistake. It turns out that a school is being built 3 homes away from our location. We did not find out about this until 15 minutes before we were due to go to closing. Had a van full of furniture and expectations of a quiet retirement home in the country. Not to be. There has been construction going on non stop for the last year which has been disruptive and is going to continue for roughly another year. What formerly was a view of a lovely farm field now has fences, lights, and a stadium, country living at its finest. Additionally, my front lawn has been dug up three times to date for the additional plumbing needed for the school. Everyone in this area (except us) was aware that this school was being built but our Agent, Luke French, didn't see fit to inform us of this fact until 15 minutes before we were due at the closing. What a professional! Steer clear of Apex Realty in Tappahannock, Va and specifically, Luke French, if you value honesty and integrity.
