We moved to Aquatic on Fourth Street a month ago and are really enjoying the place. Right from the tour we had great experience. Sarah and Lexie who are part of the apartment management were extremely helpful during the whole process. They made sure to explain all the specials that the apartment was running and ensured they were applied by the time we moved.
The apartment is also a block away from some great shopping center and lot of good restaurants. The neighborhood is also walking friendly. Overall we are very please with our decision to move into the apartments.

Smooth leasing process, and a great management team. The whole process was well executed and we moved into a very clean unit. The staff is great, and the building is clean and quiet. I could give the review about 4.5 stars if I could, only because the appliances are a bit dated. But the great layout and other quality materials make up for it.

The homes are roomy, the front desk trio (in Laura, Lexie & Sarah) are terrific! If you’re looking for decent digs, walking distance to everything, affordable & a really sweet+kind staff, you’ve come to the right place in The Aquatic Living at Fourth St.

This is one of the best kept secrets of Berkeley!!

PS: I read the older reviews too, & was apprehensive. There’s no cause for worry. Visit & you’ll know!

Laura took me on a tour today and I was so impressed with Laura's knowledge of the building. She took time to show me two units as well as all the amenities the building has to offer. The apartments are modern and spacious, and the Clubhouse room and fitness room are very impressive. One thing I really liked was how clean the hallways were and the lobby smells really nice!

The team at the Aquatic is absolutely exceptional!! We came in super last minute to tour a few units and Sarah was extremely kind and helpful. We are definitely a little picky and she was happy to show us as many units as we were interested in and was very informative about not only the building/facility but the culture of the community and Berkeley in general. Good views, close to the water, awesome amenities. Thank you to Sarah and the rest of the Aquatic team for being so welcoming and professional in the best way possible!! 🫶🏼

I've been a resident here for two years, and while there have been a few challenges, particularly with management and theft, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by the Aquatic maintenance team. Brennan, in particular, is a fantastic technician. He’s always responsive to our needs and prioritizes home repairs, consistently addressing our concerns within hours.

This was the best renting experience I have ever had in the bay area. Even though there were some mishaps with the gates and the elevator I know the management cared and did their best to accommodate. They also promptly returned the security deposit after the move out inspection. The building, amenities and management has been excellent and I would gladly live here again if my work situation ever changes!

We’ve been living here for the past 3 months and we really love our apartment so far! Lexi took care of us from the beginning and made sure our move in day was seamless. Any requests that we have, it is always taken care of promptly.

We had a parking issue where these red berries would fall on my white car and end up leaving stains on it. Lexi was so understanding and quickly assigned me a new spot.

Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s also super close to cute shops and restaurants. There’s even a brewery and wine bar downstairs!
