Lived here for three years toooo long. They raised my rent significantly each year. The electrical is messed up- if the dryer is running and I used a blow dryer in my bedroom the power would go off in the bedroom/ living room. .. you can hear cars driving on the freeway ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT long. ANTS all over your house all summer long. There is a 5g tower right behind the building- yikes. There is ZERO parking. And if you park your own car in front of your garage you will get a email saying they are going to charge $100. So be prepared to park across the street at the ymca. Where my car has been broken into many times. The townhouse is way over priced and very cheaply made. Rude management. Rent went from $1900 to $2600 in 3 years. For my move out fee I was trying to set up a realistic payment plan where i could also afford to live and pay them.. they were not willing to accept the money and said I could make payments to the collection agency instead. That’s for being a loyal resident for three years. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

We’ve been living here about one month now. I was hesitant to move in after reading reviews but so far my experience has been nothing but positive. We love our unit and feel we are paying a fair price for it. Michelle has been super responsive every time I had a question and the community is kept very clean.

The situation with the parking isn’t a secret, during your tour you can see if it would be a good fit for you or not. I feel that it’s unfair to give a bad review if you were aware of the situation ahead of time. For us, having the private garage is enough and it’s really not a huge inconvenience. Our last apartment was much worse! Here we have a spacious garage for our car and tons of storage space. We hear the freeway but again this isn’t a problem for us as we’ve lived downtown and are used to background noise. Touring here will totally be enough to decide if it’s the right fit for you or not.

We’re happy with our decision to live here and love how quick we can hop on 410. 🙂

Unfortunately our nearly 5 years living at Aster resulted in a rating of 1 star. Overall we enjoyed living there, when we didn’t have to deal with the office staff. The maintenance man, I will say, was great. We never had neighbor complaints and our biggest complaint was that the parking is awful. Don’t ever plan to have a guest over unless they park at the YMCA. We were good tenants, who paid on time every month, even through Covid, we ALWAYS used our garage for both cars even though that meant one of us would have to back cars in and out constantly. The one star rating comes at the end....no compassion was shown and we were raked over the coals financially. We received misinformation from the lady in the office that cost us a ton of money. In the end all they wanted was as much money as they could suck out of our pockets.

In my search for a new home, I found Aster Townhomes. Tabitha was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She stayed in constant communication with me, via email and phone calls. Tabitha's pleasant demeanor was relaxing to my soul. Searching for a new home can be hectic and stressful. I've come across several apartment mangers during my search, and some were just not nice. Tabitha at Aster Townhomes will always make you feel welcomed. If you are looking for a new home, hurry. They are going fast.

The WORST experience of my life. I immediately had an ant problem upon entering my unit. I was then told by the manager that i would have to pay to have the exterminator treat the inside of my unit. It took multiple days to finally convince the management company that it was not reasonable for me to have to pay an exterminator within the first week of me renting the unit.

Fast forward to the end of January of this year. I decided to terminate my lease due to parking issues. I provided a 20 day notice to the manager. Just this week, the manager called me and left a voicemail threatening to turn me over to collections. I have not received any kind of bill or invoice. I provided a $400 deposit. I also spent two days cleaning the unit. The manager charges $175 for carpet cleaning and $225 for th base cleaning of any unit. You WILL NOT get any of your deposit back. I was also told that I owe $65 for one days worth of rent, being February 1. I vacated the unit on January 21. I was told by the manager that my keys were due on February 1, but was not told that i would be charged for that days worth of rent. It is costing me an additional $377 to rid my life of this horrible apartment complex and manager.

I read the reviews prior to renting this unit, but was stupid enough to believe that the other reviewers were just being dramatic. The manager is terrible, the parking is terrible, and the ants are terrible. I am forewarning any possible renters, do not do it. It will be a terrible experience for you and it is not worth it.

I’ve recently referred a friend here and she informed me that she was concerned because of the reviews she’s been reading. I’ve gone through and read them and would like to clear up a few things.
I have been here for 2.5 years and yes I will admit the parking wasn’t the best. In the last 1.5 years there’s been new management that has improved the parking and yes enforced it. Some of us were not able to get out of our garages without maneuvering around. Honestly, some people may not like this since they use their garage for storage but for me I appreciate the enforcement. I’ve been able to get in and out of my garage without a problem now. This may be an issue with someone with a much larger vehicle?

The ant issue I’ve not noticed since they’ve treated the outside of the buildings with an extensive treatment and typically when building on new land there will be issues with ants when breaking ground. Since they’ve done this treatment the last few months we’ve had no issues at all.

I’m very pleased with the new girls in the office and they’re both very friendly and will listen to your concerns.

The grounds are beautiful

The Y is right across the street too.

I just wanted to take the time to address these concerns since it seems like when others are upset they tend to take to social media. Unfortunate.

Thank you for all you do and I love my home here at Aster and will be here for long term.

I am in the military and I have rented for the past 15 years and this is the worst place I have ever lived. The units are nice but the management is horrible. The deposit for these places is only $400 but don’t be fooled. They took all of my deposit and I still owed $170 after moving out. I am an extremely clean person and there is no reason for this.

The manager is absolutely horrible. She is a complete moron and incompetent. Every time I would call needing repairs or questions she would tell me about her own problems and issues.

On top of all of this I had a horrible ant problem for the entire 2 years I lived there. I needed service on my home for ants and since it wasn’t on their scheduled day the townhome conpany was going to charge me $60. I ended up getting my own pest control company and paying out of my own pocket.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE UNITS.

11/2/19 Update on my previous post. I had to take Aster to small claims to get my security deposit back which they tried to keep as a cleaning fee. I was also awarded a credit for the dbl utility bill they were charging me. They had 10 months to correct this but their manager was stubborn and wouldn’t face reason. A judge had to set her straight.
