There is so much I could say in this review. This was by far the worst experience I have had with an agent. Multiple issues included:

On more than one occasion, we had to resign documents because he lost them. Including some paperwork we were having to sign just minutes before our closing.

Multiple things were to be fixed prior to closing, and this fell through the cracks. At our final walkthrough, he promised he would have them done personally and “that should be good enough” yet it was a battle to get anything accomplished. Ended with a photo from his friend that’s a plumber saying “looks good” and no official written report.

On that note, we had to sign the irsa without the leak detection report because it still wasn’t complete. Understandably, this wasn’t totally his fault. However he spoke on our behalf telling them to just send the report and we’ll pay later, even though we had already signed and the report was essentially useless at that point. Then, was zero help trying to come to a compromise with leak detection on the bill when we did not receive the services as promised.

He also told us we should have never been at the house when OUR flooring people came to do an estimate. We had delayed occupancy but we were told we would have access when needed to plan for repairs. He said the sellers should have met with them which doesn’t make sense seeing as we’re the ones that will be doing business with the flooring company. It was our understanding him or the selling agent would be there with us, not the sellers.
Then, when the sellers all of a sudden “had covid” (immediately after they said we were inconviencing them) we were told there would be a thorough cleaning before our flooring people arrived and then again after to clean up the mess. Apparently lysoling the house on their way out is a thorough cleaning.

When concerns were addressed to him, he became very defensive and ultimately ended hanging up on me. There were other occassions he was impolite as well. Including telling us “you’ll never find your dream home” and “you need to pick an area and stick to it” or not allowing us to be there with the inspector. There was frequent lack of communication and no sense of urgency.

There were several other small issues that arose that all around led to us feeling like he was only it in to get a paycheck and leave and didn’t actually have our best interest at heart.

In the interest of leaving an honest review, he did replace a part for the fridge that was broke that we all failed to notice when looking at the house. But in hindsight, it was the wrong part.
