I won’t waste my time or yours with everything that went wrong because I’m sure you hear the same stories repeatedly. The only positive experience was the day of closing and the staff there. Every day prior and since has but a sad excuse of professionalism. I’ve been forced to begin completing the items on my finally work thru since not one DR Horton employee has stepped foot on my property since closing (obviously that’s not unexpected based on the precedents set). I’d just like to get this list done and have nothing to do with this company there after.

I've lived here over a year and love it. Our HOA is awful. We do pay for green areas to be cut routinely and they are not. Right now we look like a swamp. Looking forward to the neighborhood taking over the HOA so things will be done consistently. We've had issues with the pool service also.

Not happy with DR Horton!!! Buyer Beware. ALERT ALERT do not buy a home here. I agree with the review below. They never do or fix anything. I closed in June and there are still things on my final walk list that haven’t been done.
They have been through four to six superintendents in a year.

My driveway is cracked and the emergency plumbers left a man sized hole in my front yard from where the superintendent never had the grinder pump turned on so our house was flooding one day after we moved in. The flooring is lifting and coming up throughout the house. The paint job was awful and there are six inch sections that do not have paint.
I also still haven’t gotten my gold fortified letter that is required by the insurance.

I have never seen such awful and terrible customer service. They do not care about their homeowners, only money. You have to have zero morals to work here. Not sure how the sales people sleep at night knowing the kind of homes they are selling to people. DR Horton should be investigated and shut down by the authorities.

This is the most pathetic builder in America. I have been here over a year and they still have not done things that were promised that they would do.
I could go on and on and on about how awful they are they will push your closing lie to you and never do anything. They have houses that are literally falling apart. Not one single person I know in here doesn’t have problems with their flooring.

This is a very nice looking community with a lovely pool and a playground. It has a coastal feel and the entrance has a small fountain. It’s about 10 minutes from Gulf Shores public beach access and very close to shopping.
